Doubt he is EVER folding a set in HU-Hypers. Also I`ve never seen a HU-SNGreg at 200-500$ HU-SNGs that sounds as fishy as you do, srsly you sound like a huge fish. That indicates that maybe your play is good enough for 200-500$ HU-SNGs but your mindset def is not. Also in my reg vs reg battles I realized a lot of people are totally unbalanced.

At op gl to you, not playing hypers anymore but from time to time I still degen them and follow the Hands on HUSNG.com a lot-

Also, btw how do u rate jbidouilles? Im watching your 15+ consecutive game vs him and I don't understand why he accepts rematches(ego?) cause he is pretty much below you as skill (imho). This is hilarious : http://postimage.org/image/p77ehwc61/

One more though, what do you consider a decent sample size for your real skill/results in hypers?(thousands of games)

Skilll at HUSNGs ??

Run good or run bad. Thats it.

Ok when u suck out or win with crap but whine when other does it.

Watch a 1k HypSNG or 1.50 is the same.

Spend/Save money wisely cos lucky to have it.

There is no cartel or anything, didnt really want to expand my thoughts on it though. I think it is something that could form eventually as natural evolution of the game.

Started at 50$ hu sngs on stake. Took radical jumps up in stakes and went broke lots.

Just someone supremely confident that they're the best player in the game.

Anyways, I'm wondering if you're aware of that image and whether it's intentional. I picked up on it immediately at the time, and when I saw your picture ITT I remembered it immediately.
Yeah, I would be lying if I said I didnt think I was best player in the games. I think i do a pretty good job of talking to fish/busting their balls which makes them like to play back at me and spew, and I think I play pretty good vs other regs. But who knows, I very well may not have been in some lineups. but every poker player is a bit delusional about how good they are. I hope I didnt come off as a cocky prick, I dont like the regs that act that way. Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way.

However, I do notice that I feel much more comfortable at Aria then other rooms ive played at such as bellagio / borgata etc. Maybe thats what it was.

I have 2 questions dear you -

1/ As every regs, im facing from time to time regwars or new winning players trying to move up, sitting lobbies on my limits or trying to attack me...

My question is, what can you do facing the typical decent player who will never drop a hand, when hittting endlessly nuts, hand after hands, game after game, during quit substancials periods ?

What are your basic adjustments facing this, considering you ofc never hit a damn board and your only chance to win being bluffing; this player CALL OFC ALL YOUR BLUFFS knowing you are card dead or something (it could be another question btw, how does he knows im always behind calling me ENDLESSLY Qhi even J hi ?? .... wtf ?)

The natural strategy i adopted was to limping something like 70/75 % of my range folding the bottom of it, and essentialy checkraising only for value with ofc a balance..)

2/ Finally as weird as it sounds, after years of poker, i authentically would like to ask you how do you do, to fold a set or even 2 pairs ? Because i have to admit that, except having reads on villain or on scary boards and/or obv drawy boards, i call way too often those hands considering we're heads up and villain has a very often substancial bluff range on those limits...

I mean is your decision is essentialy based on a parameter ? like a feeling of power from villain or is there anything else ? If yes how do you recognise its not a bluff CONSIDERING WITH A SET WE ALSO ARE NOT FAR FROM THE NUTS HEADS UP AND THIS WAY ONE COULD SHARING THIS FEELING OF POWER OURSELF ON OUR HAND ?

Obvious timing tells & sizing exclude, HOW DO YOU EFFING FOLD THAT MONSTER ????

I'm listening to you.
When you are card dead, dont try and manufacture ways to get chips. You are just going to spew even harder. Just play your cards the right way and ride it out.

Ya I know he is french and never chats back, I just wanted to see if I could get him too. I think he is mtt reg or something, just plays them for fun. I would hope so that he is below me at skill or I have serious work to do.

Im really not sure, skaiwalkurrrr would be the man with the answer

p.s. cool table theme, may have to change mine to that and see if it brings some run good

I did not say i would manufacure anything to get chips at all, i said my strategy was a kind of "maximal nit defense" versus godmode streak by limping and C/R only for value with ofc a balance so i dont understand your answer sorry ... ? I was asking what you thought of that nitty defense actually.....?

Then i would be very pleased if you could answer to my point 2/

What was one of the most memorable moments of your poker career? Any specific hands that highlight your upcoming to one of the best players of HUSNGs?

If you had to choose any other form of poker outside of Heads Up, what game/format (example:9 man regular speeds, 6 max turbo, 18 man turbos, Limit 2-7 Triple Draw )would that be?

What method do you think is the current best way to study poker and why?

Do you believe gambling is just a business sucking money out of the economy?

WOW sick sick thread.

Your story reminds me a little of my own cause I quit my first job at tropical smoothie at age 17 cause I was crushing 90man SNGs, got laughed at by my boss at the time when I told him I was quitting to play poker. I went on to have a few successful years in MTTs.

Truly inspiring thread to show an inside look one of the best players in the game right now and that hard work can pay off.

glgl on the goals, dont see any reason you wont accomplish them.
