Sup guys, im mrgr33n13 on pokerstars and riyyc225 on ftp. I play primarily HU sngs, turbos and hypers. Been told by a few people that I should put a thread up here so here it goes.

Going for 1.25m profit on sharkscope for mrgr33n13, but Ill be happy if I can get it between stars and FTP. I have goals of getting 5m VPP but will also settle for 4m. Right now I am up around 350k between the 2 sites on the year and already at 900k vpps. I have been fortunate to get a lot of 5k hu sng action so far which is great for my VPP goals. However, most of the 5k action is vs very good players like Ben86, Ike Haxton, Sauce, etc which always makes for a good challenge.

I see a lot of players on here with very lofty VPP goals. They seem to all be playing 6max hypers sngs and I see that as a game where u can get burned out quickly because it doesn't take much mental stimulation once you've figured it out. I think my situation is different because as much as people think hu hyper sngs are flipping, there is a big skill element as you have to always be making quick adjustments vs the people you play and be very careful with how you are constructing your ranges. I really don't see myself getting burned out, I wake up each day itching to play and if playing hypers ever gets boring Ill make sure to challenge myself vs someone in 5ks to reignite my passion for the grind.

Background info: I am 22, been playing hu sngs since I was 17. I am American and after black Friday I didn't play much poker, just played the occasional live mtt. Now relocated to Montreal and going to solely focus on hu sngs again.

The downswing (all 48 hours of it) came from playing Ike Haxton. It was a bit worse then the graph says because we side bet on top of the 5ks. I didn't lose that many buyins and I am fine declining Ike action for some time and print some pretty variance free money. Since then, I am already back to even from the start of our 5k+ sessions together. =)

how did you get the money just to jump right in playing the highest husng stakes on pokerstars?

When playing against regs, Skype video chat is a tool most people don't utilize. When used correctly, you can see up to 3% ROI boost. When drunk and used correctly, you can sometimes see up to 10% ROI boost.

3) If it is not sensitive to share on 2p2 - what do you think you do so well/different to your typical 300s/500s regs that allows you to beat 1ks for 2% roi?

4) Lastly a simple one - how many games/hr do you get at 1ks on average when you play mostly vs. fish?

at first it was a bit tough, I had to battle the very best and there were a lot of spots where I was confused and I hadn't really constructed my ranges that properly ( I was button clicking ) At this point I have been playing so much volume, my game is really finely tuned. There is no spots I don't feel very comfortable in and I am very confident in my hand reading vs very tough players.

Before Black Friday I was playing 2-5k hu sngs on FTP as well as some 1k hypers. I already was pretty adept at these, however, the game has evolved a good bit since but I just saw what good players were doing, figured out why they were doing it, then added it to my game and improved on it as much as I could.
