I don't think it was smart from RIOT to release new champ every 2 weeks. I see they slowed down the pace afterwards.

I started playing when Riven was released, so around 08/2011.
I calculated it and it was 83 champions back then.
Gladly Riot stopped releasing champs every 2 weeks. Maybe back then it was reasonable because the game was so hot. I had to do military service so took a year off from the game and never really started again. Would have to learn 30-35 new champions.
League was one hell of a drug at the time :P
Especially when WoW was so big, but then began it's decline. Did you ever play WoW? I'm looking forward to WoW classic. I'm doing well in poker, so might not bother anyways

played only on GG today until i raked enough to spin my 1k rb spin spun a 100 ran good today so can't complain too much
going to be starting a new meditation/ breathing/cold shower course by a guy called Wim Hof google him hes nuts lol

That was back in the old days. Leveling to 60-70 could take months. Then getting gear was slow and very grindy.
I guess now I could level from 1 to 120 in 1-2 weeks. Then they have implemented all these fast join-mechanisms for dungeons and raids. Just click button and you'll be queued and joined to a dungeon or raid. Getting gear is super easy, the game is designed for casuals now.
But that means the reward-mechanism is really ****ed up. I also think the "WoW experience" is gone. Back in the old days you really had the opportunity to YOLO nolife.
Private servers are great to get that nostalgia back.

My current addiction is 100z on Stars.

hasn't been a very productive week been at the pub twice this week two days drunk two days hung over but down -670 cba pulling up graphs and screen shotting etc
but played some 200 on GG didn't run too great keep getting coolered for stacks since trying out some 200 but what ever its fine feel like im running good over all on GG

just played a super small session well tried too miss read couple boards wrong prob best not to play when running on minimal sleep lol

updating the small win because GG updated their systems and i can't keep track of my wins in the cashier the graphs dont include rake / rb or big hand promotions so keeping my br saved in a note pad every day by updating here i can look back and tally up the winnings i should maybe get a spreadsheet set up or something

time for an update

not a good update poker hasn't been kind to me recently on a bit of a downswing can't seem to get the ball rolling in the right direction hopefully doesn't last to much longer

been on the fence for a while now about playing most of my volume on GG and think im switching most of my volume back stars in about a week few reasons why is because the games aren't fun to play in so many short stacks playing 20/30bb stacks on GG literally 3/4/5/ per table the games never used to be as bad for short stackers my guess is its because the sites growing + the rake is high wouldn't surprise me if its 10bb including the big hand promo they run obv get some back in RB and when you hit a big hand<< (seems rarely now) but still high rake another reason and prob the biggest one is getting better at poker building up a database and getting back on the study grind feel like if i continue to play most of my volume on GG against short stacks my game will i guess is deteriorating and its scary to think where my game will be in 6/12 months


depressing update i know but i don't update for other people to read i update selfishly for my self to look back at some time down the road

last 4 days pretty much breakeven 400 RB spin helped me out +50 bucks
glad the gg grind is over for now site was tilting me a little yesterday and today

hard to improve when playing on GG pretty much might end up back there for the majority of my volume al see how it gos but yeah easier to study and improve playing on stars

honestly, don't think i can wouldn't be able to add subtract the big hand promo which is running 24/7 also its multiple stakes and two different formats no way to find out how much rake i paid by stake

going out for a curry and drinks to night prob sit all day tomorrow playing cod4 see if i can complete the campaign in one sitting

Back on stars

Been playing my last few sessions on stars GG tables where tilting me
close to a 100% has been in the 100z pool played 200 hands on 100 reg tables but kind of annoying having to rejoin tables when they break which happened about 5/6 times in the 200 hands i played prob just stick to zoom for the near future

started of on GG then switched to zoom had 3 days unplanned off hence the low volume
-350 on GG but they are due me about 250/300 so close to break even
