Not sure if the streams are gonna continue, I listened to a bit of the stream back and got tilted by how bad my mic was. Idk why it's so bad on stream tho, because it's completely fine with Skype...

You realise how much you need it when you first start and it's impossible to not think of anything for longer than 10 seconds.

Cheers man! Really cool of you to extend the branch . Will hopefully talk to ya later today if you're about!

H4 Think I like it vs a spud kinda just like betting a bit smaller to guarentee a call though. Thats me though.

h3 - I don't think sizing down the turn vs a rec ensures they don't slowplay 2p
h4 - yeh agree vs a rec. AP villain was a reg who I hope will find some heroes

Taking today off to study like I usually do for Monday's. Poker is going OK(ish)... I've played 1.5k hands/day 2 tabling ZOOM which is pretty good for my standards. I ran well in setups during the first few days of the Month, but have since been running pretty horrible (small sample tho obv). Main thing to note, for me at least, is that I'm really happy w/ my play throughout the mini doomswitch; good folds were still being made and there wasn't any desperate stuff going on in an attempt claw back my losses.
By the end of yesterday I had got stacked 5x by 5 sets where I either had trips, an overpair, TPGK or top 2p. It happens to everyone, that's Poker, and I'm not writing this to vent my frustrations to you all. But as a result, I had let myself fall into the mindset of waiting to lose, or, expecting to lose - the typical mindset of a tilted player who is just sure villain will have the nuts and cooler them in some manner . As soon as I caught myself doing it I dropped all tables and went to relax. There's really no point in thinking like that at all, it's pessimistic, defeatist and an incredibly flawed mindset, yet it's something I've struggled with when running in the bottom ~1% for any sort of sample, no matter how insignificantly small.
Anyway. Enough doom and gloom. Some (fun) hands :
1. Ooooooook.
Results: $249.76 pot ($2.50 rake)
Final Board: 8 6 6 2 2
BTN showed 8 8 and won $247.26 ($128.63 net)
UTG mucked and lost (-$11 net)
Hero showed Q Q and lost (-$118.63 net)
Turn: ($73.23) 9 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $21.08, MP2 folds, BB raises to $250.43, Hero calls $55.54 and is all-in
River: ($226.47) A (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $226.47 pot ($2.00 rake)
Final Board: 4 3 T 9 A
BB showed A A and won $224.47 ($123.44 net)
Hero showed T T and lost (-$101.03 net)
MP2 mucked and lost (-$24.41 net)
H1 I would put them on slow played AA KK, and personally fold.
Well I think you are folding the best hand quite often, specifically vs 1 tablers, which villain was.

Absolutely nackered - since I wrote my earlier post today, I've just been studying Poker non-stop. Feeling super productive as a result of it, though. Still got about an hour to do, but will make sure to relax after without feeling guilty at all .
streamz plz 1!
I promise I wont be milking new mic :[
My mic is so bad though lol, and it's made me a bit paranoid about streaming... I listened to a bit of it back and it was even worse than I had first thought!

When running PIO sims my computer sounds like a boeing 747 about to take off.
1. Is this normal?
2. Does this sound mean I'm putting my computer under a lot (maybe too much? )of stress?
3. Will my computer burn out if I'm running sims daily?
Then you could probably found out the info from google what are the normal working ranges of for example GPU. Also when was the last time you had your thermal paste changed?

Right ok I will download it later!
I don't know what thermal paste is, so I'd say never lol
CPU core temps is your only worry since PIO only taxes your CPU. Just download a monitor program (I like HWMonitor), run a sim and keep an eye on your four cores.
If the hottest core stays around 80 you're fine. If it reaches 90+ you should look into upgrading your cooler or reapplying the thermal paste. I'm guessing you're using whatever came with the CPU so a cheap after market cooler (https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Fans-Cool...ords=pure+rock) would be a smart upgrade. It's straight forward to install, comes with new thermal paste pre-applied and you'll see a lot cooler temps and enjoy quieter simming.
it's because you are using intel stock cooler, they are **** and should go straight into dustbin always lol. But you shouldn't care that much anyways since your i7 is non overclockable.
I dont know if I could ever find a fold for that size
Lol, yeh it felt dirty folding with them odds. When he said 87 instead of the Q, which would be his go-to response if he was bluffing, I tend to believe him

Will post some results later today. Taking tonight off and watching a couple episodes of "Almost Human" ATM. Really good TV series, def worth a watch!
Been slacking a bit with the volume recently. The bug to play isn't there right now, altho I am still doing a lot of studying, prob a >2:1 study to play ratio going on atm, which isn't terrible, but it's gonna have to turn back around at some point!
I'd say that I've been playing well at the tables despite me not being there often lately. Definitely a few silly mistakes as usual, but I've been good with realising them quickly and working out what I shoulda done instead. My original plan was 46k hands this month (that's 27 days of play w/ 4 Monday's off), but I'm only on track for ~37k thus far, so the pace needs to pick up a wee bit!
Some hands:
1. Vs unknown reg. Unsure about calling River, Villain shouldn't have any bluffs and he shouldn't be vbetting anything worse than AK... how he does this w/ that is beyond me, I guess I just got lucky
I mean, H1 isn't standard but I don't hate it. Think his only debatable move is calling turn, rest seems fine. You have more JJ-KK in your range which is checking back river, so jamming seems ok from an exploitable perspective. He obv misses out from your bluffs, but don't really think MPvEP has many on this runout.
H4 I prefer either 2brl/decide river or xc turn, don't like jamming turn at all unless villain plays rivers very nitty. vs aggro reg this is prob not the case, so should be a good hand to call down with.

Well done on results!
We have enough clear calls that beat AQ to make it so we aren't forced to hero call and still beat AQ tho
