Cool to see you playing 200z now, sad to see you stop streaming tho as I think you're one of the more relaxed guys (plus not just a buttonclicking player ) but it's an understandable decision
glgl at 200z, hope you keep posting in pgc at least
ty mate much appreciated! I may put out the odd stream every now and again

actually no, I thought the jam was fine, but I pio'd it/thought about it more/discussed with some ppl and concluded it's just a call

it's not that small, around 40% or so. pretty standard tbh
Don't know where you ordered your computer from but I got a laptop made to a spec I wanted a couple of years ago from pcspecialist.co.uk. I'll probably use them again when it's time to upgrade.

How is 38% pot super standard on that texture? Also didn't realise 9T was a straight - makes river call fine agreed. But ya still don't get flop size?????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????

Yeh I was in contact with them as well, I decided against them and their prices were too high.

Chill man... flop textures aren't the only thing that constitute toward a bet size you know. I PIO'd it again and it's completely fine to go smaller, in fact PIO prefers going smaller in terms of frequency.

Been working a lot on my game recently away from the tables. Really feel like I've hit the next chapter in my game after a months stagnation in terms of improvement. The volume on the tables has been expectedly poor, but I'm ok with that, so long as I feel that I'm putting in enough effort into Poker as a whole, and I believe I am.
My plans for Poker are to continue my current schedule of very low volume on the tables and high volume away from the tables until I figure out everything I want/need to do - there's still a full text doc of plans I am yet to get round to. Once I have done them all, which will probably finish mid way through the first week of May, I should be comfortable enough to grind out more volume at 200z without needing to do lots of studying to compensate for it.
In the last week there were two people that had contacted me regarding coaching, and I've managed to go ahead with one of them. I have really high hopes for the agreement that we have, and I am super excited to get underway with it! I've always had a passion for teaching, and after I gave up trying to become a Math teacher some time ago (because **** the UK's education system), the chance to teach Poker just seems like an absolute blessing, and I confident that I can do a good job.
Some hands:
1. I guess I should just xc turn. I was hoping that he would level himself and betcall AK at the time.
I have to say i had doubts but you seem to be doing very well with the approach you are taking. Are you hoping to go pro in poker for the forseeable future? I think doing so while you have the safety net of being at home is a good thing as it helps with mindset etc.
Unfortunately not, no. I'm waiting for Intel to release their new batch of products before I decide to get anything, unless my computer gives up before then. Any recommendations?

I hope you continue to do well.
Tyvm, much appreciated
Yeh I will be, altho I still have other interests that may take priority, so Poker may find itself in a part-time position depending on how things go. As for now, all resources are going into Poker to see where I can get.
I just read an article about the Intel i9 ranges and AMD threadripper potentially coming out late this summer. They are definitely the type of stations I am looking for!

I looked into them a bit, but I've no real idea about how they compare to top i7 stations now, like, for example, the i7-6900k 10core
Been doing lots of studying and feel like it's been super productive and beneficial for me. I'm going to take the next 2 days off and be fresh for June. Here's hoping things can go smoothly and I can play as well as I hope I can!
Goals for June:
1. 42k hands
2. >2.5hrs study each day
3. Establish, or work towards, a better mental game
Happy birthday! Great stream yesterday, very educational and entertaining. Would be cool if you made a post on here before your next one so I don't miss it

Thanks man!
Glad you enjoyed the stream. I've decided that I'll stream 1-2 times a week (probably 1) for a bit of fun and to try and build an audience. I won't be streaming 200, but people still seemed to enjoy the 50.

Thanks man, much appreciated . The ethic could be better, but I am working on that!
I think it's pretty cool when someone crosses the Rubicon in this nutso game. You seem to be studying the nuts off it, which is recipe for success in any occupation, so will follow with interest and respect...even though some your plays seem a little odd to me. Must be all the solver stuff (or is it solvent...??) you guys do.

GL mate.
Thanks mate. Yep my lack of volume on the tables is definitely made for off the tables, although I need to increase on-table volume a wee bit!
If you have any questions about the plays being "odd" then just ask .
Also, PIO would be right down your alley, so long as you have a good PC. I think you'd have good fun with it!
