as I had planned I could not play much these last 4 days and wont play a lot for the next couple of days. On september 1st I will give an update on my 2 weeks of play in august, I will set myself a challenge for the first 2 weeks of september, where I will be putting in ALOT of volume, so ill see you guys then

August Recap

A lot has happened this month, I was coming back from a 2 months break completly detached from poker. The first couple of weeks I wanted to give live poker a shot, things didnt go so well (lol live poker), and so I decided to get back to online. I quickly picked off from where I left and I have to say I still love this game very much. Definatly prefer playing 1700 per hour over the 20 hands per hour live . As for the results here they are..

Hey man sexy volume you got there. Very motivating indeed! Just wondering why you are not moving up? I think you have the capability and the bankroll. The first few weeks will be hard but once you study the winning regs and adapt a bit of their strategy I am sure you will crush!

thanks man. I am pretty strickt with brm, and I would need at least 12k to play 100nl, at the moment thats not the case, but if these two weeks go well I will probably start to dabble in the 100nl fr zoom pool when it runs.

Why would you need 240 nl50 buyins to play nl100? Surely at least 200 should be enough? (and 100 is easily enough for a very very very low risk of ruin unless you need to cash out a lot each month)

Ok so you are that tight. Ive been wondering wether im playing to tight. Trying to play more hands. But im around 20/17/8 right now. Compared to reg tables where im 28/23/9.

That said, now i know ill be super fine playing even tighter good job mate.

so pretty slow start to the month, definatly not on track for my hours goal so I will try to up the pace. 100nl fr zoom started to run again and I decided to start playing when it does. I realized that there were no reasons for me to not play there as I am confident that I am a winning player there. Also, if things go to worse I can always stop and grind 50nl and 25nl to try to get back the roll up.

This month isn't going as planned (what a surprise ). I realized that I would still be able to play after september 14th (maybe not as much but still..) and that kind of demotivated me to put in lots of volume. So I probably won't make any of the goals I set except for supernova and profit maybe

I did however play 27 hours so far this month which isnt THAT bad I guess.

As i mentioned I know play 100 nl fr zoom whenever it runs. However it is the max limit at de fr zoom and i hate regular tables. I will grind some more $ and soon enough I will transition to 6 max.

i dont say i dont think i have best hand on the river there many times. but whats worse than berreling 3 streets for value in a 3 bet pot and fold to a shove?? nothing... and its never a bet/call. so barreling isnt good imo. eez
