Hello 2+2,
I had a
PG & C thread last year that exceeded every expectation. All of my wildest poker dreams came true.
I hit 8th on the Pokerstars Yearly TLB, top 50 in the P5's rankings, the 400,000 VPP milestone, and oodles of table profit.
I am back going even harder in 2013. Many of my dearest poker friends ended up hitting Supernova Elite in 2012 for the first time. This made me very jelly and I am currently pondering how beautiful 2014 would be grinding MTT's with 70% rakeback.
With that said, here are my 2013 goals:
1. Finish in the top 5 of the Yearly TLB.
Near the end of the year, I found ways to optimize the grind and play many more tournaments I had been skipping. This year I will do even better. Currently, my plan is to late register all buy-ins below $22. I will start turbos >$20 at their scheduled time. The rest of my schedule will be filled with $60+ SNG's.
2. Wrangle up some Triple Crowns on PocketFives.

I've come close a few times but have never won one. Naturally then, my goal is to win 5 this year.
3. For the first 3 months, try to stay at around a 700,000 VPP pace to see if SNE is achievable.
I will have the toughest time with this goal. I hate forcing myself to play and sometimes my brain melts near the end of long sessions. The one thing I don't want to do is cut into my profits due to pushing for SNE, since my profits in 2012 were very solid without it.
I'll be skipping a lot of tournaments that don't contribute to the TLB goal or the SNE goal (i.e the 33 Cubed). If I end up giving up the SNE goal, I'll be back to playing the same stuff I did in 2012.
We'll see what happens I guess. I will keep this thread updated and try to do a much better job than I did last year of including spicy hand histories and juicy strategy content for followers.
