Another MTT sesh today. I ran really bad today, wasn't much fun. I managed to win on the day though! I am very happy about that as I had won 3 allins in the first 3 hours of the grind, was not goot. I grinded cash at the end of my sesh and won a little bit at 200nl.

Results from today:

-17th in Hot30
-6th in TenneR
-12th in 33r 6max
-7th in $22 Big Antes
-2nd in $22 6max for $500
-4th in $55c for $1k
-2nd in $11quad for $1k

So much for trying to close out an MTT, 5th 2nd in a row this week. I've been +EV in all 5 as well .

Tomorrow's plan consists of: Skype my family, do washing, tidy the apartment, chill by the pool, grind cash and go to the gym. Effectively a day off(only a little bit of poker) whilst doing all the miscellaneous jobs that need done. If I can check off all the above tomorrow, I'll be happy. GL me!

Like I said before, I've been getting back into MTTs. I've been breakeven since I returned due to not closing anything out, six 2nds in a row and a handful of other bad FT finishes. I recently got 5th in the 8r with 5k ftw, I got 13th in the €30c on .FR with $11.5k ftw and to top off a week of near misses, I got 10th in the Big162 with $20k ftw . Fairly annoying to be honest that Im breakeven when I've had a lot of good chances to make a chunk. No doubt we'll get it soon!

On the cash front, not much fun either for moi. I'm down ~$5.5k this month. There's definitely been some days were I have deserved to lose and just not played good at all, but for the most of it, I think I've played really quite solid. I guess it's just a mini swing. I recently took a shot at 500NLZ and that really could not have gone worse. I lost $1.6k in 90 hands . It was offpeak, so I think I might be around breakeven/winning a bit prerakeback, there's no way Im close to beating 500NLZ during peak time yet, I'm not delusional. It was just annoying to run really bad in those 90 hands in a fairly soft time.

So, I've got a bit of grafting to do to get out of the hole for the month! Vamoooo!

We visited the beach for the first time a few days ago - it's absolutely gorgeous. The sea is so clear and the sand is so soft. I was a big fan!



We went out for the first proper time since we've been here. We had a pre-drinks party at our apartment and then hit a club afterwards. I got faaaaar too drunk and had one of the biggest shockers of my life - extremely embarrassing. I'm going to miss out some of the small stuff(which is still really bad) as I don't want to have to relive the embarrassing stuff typing this out. Basically, I got absolutely mortal and got lost walking home with Scott. I ended up alone, lost and spewed everywhere and then passed out on the street. Someone must've seen me and called the police and I remember them waking me up and then standing me up and slapping handcuffs on me and putting me in the back of a pickup truck. They took all my possessions off me, watch, iphone, wallet, shoelaces etc and put me in a cell for the night. It's safe to say I was fairly scared when I realised that I wasn't going to be able to wriggle out of this one and I was about to get put into a Mexican cell. Thankfully, I had a cell to myself. There was 2 trannys in the cell across from me who kept showing me their tits and asking me if I had a big dick and pretending to give me a blowjob. They later told me that they were in for prostitution. Given that I speak zero Spanish, I had to act almost everything out while still mortal and eventually signalling phonecall "mi amigo, mi casa" I was eventually allowed a phonecall in the morning and thankfully Scott answered and came and picked me up and paid my bail/fine. When I got released, they had obviously taken all the money out of my wallet. It was a rather expensive night in terms of money and dignity! Hopefully that'll be my only experience in jail! In b4 I'm a jail reg!

There was a lady in Mexico City recently that was hit by bus and would have lived but an ambulance never showed up and she bled to death in the street. Pretty harsh

I for one am really panicked about Mexico since i read some stories about the drug war over there and saw some execution / decapitation clips ( i literally couldn't sleep for days after watching those gruesome videos ) . Most of the violence is in the northern states, but not so much in high tourists areas and not a whole lot further south in the states away from the Am-Mex boarder. There are exceptions to this sometimes of course.

They are just corrupt as it's a poor country. I found out with the money I had in my wallet which they later sold when I was in jail, would've been enough to pay them off on the street. The bail was 2500pesos(£140) and they got around about £60 from my wallet.

I'm not sure about that, seems very doubtful to not help a tourist. I'm going to guess the lady was Mexican.

Hey, no, we live in a really touristy area. I'm pretty safe here because I'm a tourist, they wouldn't touch us and jeopardize more tourists coming here in the future. They've got a pretty sweet thing going on here and they don't want to **** it up. Us tourists are there livelihood, so we're safe.

There's no violence where we are, really touristy area. They violence is nearer the border I believe.

I've not updated in a while. Probably going to be a loooong post, so there's your heads-up.

So, last month wasn't the best. We managed to book a losing month post-RB. You just winced as well? The month got off to the worst start possible and I faced a pretty brutal downswing and the rest of the month was about getting rostucko. We didn't manage it but clawed a decent amount back which I can be proud of. The volume wasn't the greatest, but I live in Mexico and I'm trying to be life active, so cut me some slack.

I also lost $600 at MTTs as well.
So, February was verrry meh! Let's just draw a line under that.

Onto March! I had to withdraw a lot for life expenses and combine that with a losing February, I wanted the lower variance. So, I decided to only grind cash and 100nl at that for super low variance month and absolutely churn the profit and get us back on track to crushing the **** out of 2014! I also started badly this month, similar to last. But, I've been putting in the hours and just grinding it out and got us back on track and hopefully headed for another 5 fig month.

Yes, I am a confirmed sunrunner on the EV. Pretty frustrating first half of the month, kept getting burned after good few sessions. I played some abysmal fishreg HU at 100nl deep and got destroyed for like $2.2k which wasn't so fun. He ran super duper hot goot!

I also flicked in this because there was overlay and because I am a sunrunner, I did what sunrunners do best. I went 1/1 in MTTs this month. #Closer

Up $10.4k post-RB this month, hopefully can get it up to $10k pre-RB .

On the life front, D7o1d1s0(some of you cash guys will know him) arrived here recently. Good to have another Scottish guy out here, had him staying with us for ages and just chilling - he's a cool dude . Before I found my grind ethic, we were going out for dinner a lot which was sweet; trying new food and most importantly - no dishes! The three of us(me, Scott and Don) went out to this pretty swank restaurant and I tried lobster and it was pretty delicious!
