I'll give a quick introduction for those who don't know me and can't be bothered to read those previous threads. I'm 21 years old, full-time poker pro and I'm moving to Mexico with AggroSantos on January 18th to grind for 6 months and see a bit of the world. I am unbacked and will be playing around 65% cash games and 35% MTTs - this will probably fluctuate heavily on a month-to-month basis depending on if I catch the MTT or cash bug . I'm currently playing 100-400nl and I'll be playing MTTs up to 109s + good value ones i.e. Big162, Wed320, SundayMillion etc. I'm SuperNova on PokerStars and Blackcard on FTP; so I've got good rakeback on both sites to help me going forward. I'm looking forward to travelling, gaining a bit of life experience and winning as much money as I possibly can over the next year.
This is my lifetime graph from MTTs - I've put filters on to exclude turbos as I've not played turbos in an incredibly long time and have no plans to.
Living with AggroSantos who's game I really respect, I feel I can really make a lot of money in MTTs living and talking poker everyday with him for 6 months.
This is my lifetime graph from cash. This isn't the nicest to look at: it took me around 350k hands for things to start to click, me to understand a lot of things, stop being an MTT donk and feel like I had successfully transitioned over from MTTs. Basically, so many hands logged at 50NL not having a clue what I'm doing.
Goals for 2014
Poker Goals:
[ ] Reach 500NLzoom by June/July
[ ] SuperNova x4
[ ] 5k+ MTTs
[ ] Maintain Blackcard status on FTP
I'm not going to make any monetary or gimmicky goals. I'm going to focus on playing my A-game as much as possible and playing in the right conditions/mood that will allow me to play my A-game most frequently in order for me to win as much money as I possibly can. This year is about winning all the money!
Life Goals:
[ ] Be positive; less negativity
[ ] Maintain fitness
[ ] Exercise three times per week
[ ] Build up to 250 sit-ups and press-ups per day each
[ ] No more than 1 takeaway per month
[ ] Try new places when eating out - be more adventurous when ordering
[ ] Try and eat as healthy as possible over convenience
[ ] Write at least 1 review per month for IMDb
[ ] Read 5 books
[ ] Spend my time on the internet more wisely - less mindless trolling
[ ] Go to NYC and see NYKnicks game
[ ] Go on holiday at least once with Scott whilst in Mexico. Spontaneous flight somewhere in America to make the most out of the location's convenience for a European.
"The greats weren't great because at birth they could paint, the greats were great because they paint a lot"
That picture + that song = my year. Positivity + lots of hard work = All the money!
