Entered Del Park $200 40k

240 entrants. Start with 15k Had a great Tuesday night. Was ready to go on a journey. Was fortunate to get in 30 bb pre with aces against 10 10 at the 6001200 level. I made it 3800 he 3 bet i shoved he decided to "gamble" lol and I didn't get the bone. Had 127k at dinner break. 203k at the following break with 23 remaining. Pic is like 170k was right before the color up of the pinks.



Table changed. Down to 2 tables. I get handcuffed with big aggressive stacks to my left. 18 remaining, csi dwindling a little over 6. I am weighing out how bad i want the steal the crazy asians bb vs. how often he is going to stuff. folds to my button. I make it 27k at the 5-10 level. sb folds. Asian takes forever counting his chips, he actually took so long i didn't think he was going to have the balls to do it. But then he stuffed and the number wasn't right. So i lost a sixth of my chips.

I get table changed right before my BB. 16 remaining. Lost 2 more players because some fish opened then called a 3 bet shove from aces. He hits a runner runner straight. Few rotations later. I have chipped up to 190k. 8k 16k level 2k ante fish opens to 32k. I look down at AQ off ship. Folds to fish,fish asks how much it is dealer say, about 150k.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...............................Come on man, I immediately say it's 190k, which I dont want to do, but at the same time wtf choice do I have. He calls with KQ, binks king on the turn 400K chips to the man in seat two. GG.

Thanks guys, hearing some positive feedback means more to me than I wish it did.

I will be hitting the road again tomorrow morning. 2 more tournaments are on the horizon, then hopefully a major addition for the weekend. I won't say where I'll be or what I'll be playing. I will say that today is being spent doing everything in my power to enable myself to go the distance.

I'm on the road. Already busted an MTT this afternoon. Had the pleasure of being seated to right of Mr. not grimerat. Never got it going, mr. not grimer and friend both busted and re-bought so I was left with a bunch of fish to exploit, but the cards didn't put me in spots to excel.

How can I force myself to eat when I am disgusted by my company?

I can remember going to Mcdonald's as a child and never eating a thing because of the warlocks working behind the counter. Why is this society so insistent that every life is worth living?

The government wants you to wear a seat-belt because if you die it costs them tax revenue.

I sliced up some morons who surely pro-created in Charles town. I am home, ready to enjoy the weekend with my family. My father is a slave. He drives a BMW and owns 3 houses, but is a slave. Do I dislike this government for enslaving the populous or the populous for being ignorant enough to not realize that they are being used like a whore in a brothel?

Concrete goals coming for April. Time to explode.

The problem that I am running into is that I still can't decide what I want out of myself. Should I play cash games or tournaments?

I want to grind both, but it doesn't seem to work that way for me. If I play a live tournament, I work on a day time schedule. If I am in cash game mode, I am a creature of the night. Attempting to do both diminishes total returns.

Parx is having the Big Stax II in May. I know I want to play these events. Borgata has a $560 500k this week. I wish wasn't so confident that I could ship one of these. I know I have the tools to kill a dragon, but perhaps not enough ammo to kill one before I go busto. The last thing I want to do is get stuck in MTT's then start chasing playing 1k's or something stupid like that. I've had pretty much the same net worth for the past 3 months. I am tired of trading in this range.

Seems pretty clear to me that I should grind more cash and double my roll. If only I wanted to grind cash and not chase the dragon.

1 last tournament before next months Deep Stax. Playing day 1a of the $560 500k at Borgata tomorrow. The last time I foreshadowed a tournament I said I was doing everything in my power put myself in position to ship the day before, but in truth spent the day blazing and either getting blown or ****ing some stupid flower.

This time instead of saying I am prepping for a tournament I am going to say I am going to a library with the objective of getting some brain. Who knows maybe I'll get some studying done. GL me.

Got dealer tilted in my first round at Parx, dusted off 240. Drove south, filled my belly. I planned on banging out some 12 hour sessions. I'm going to need to break it into a 6+6 with a big meal in between.

It's hard to stay motivated. In a tournament it's easy to be motivated to play forever for obvious reasons. In cash games I feel like I have a tank, which is my mental capacity for running up a stack without being risk averse. At a certain point I say ok this looks like a good pay day. At this exact moment I no longer play optimal poker. I would love to be able to grind out 160 hours a month of cash, but I have more than a few mental barriers to get thru in order to make that a reality.

lolz revolution. I have yet to win anything on any skin on the network that changed the game REVOLUTION. I had a good 200nl run last June I guess. I miss merge, moreover I would really just prefer to play on stars and tilt. There is literally nothing better than being to be able to chill in your own environment and grind some pokerz. All your desires at your fingertips, food is just a grocery store trip away, or delivery it is. This is exponentially better than the drudgery that is hanging around in casinos.
