This is a goal thread to help me keep grinding up till christmas.
Last week I went on a serious downswing. I started 4 tabling regs at the $500 heads up hyper turbo level and while I honestly believe I have an edge on almost any reg, playing 4 different people at once is stupid for anyone at those stakes. Anyway I lost $~25k in one day and decided to cash out the rest of my bank roll and take a week off.

Suprise suprise the next day I really want to play so I try and redeposit $10k and find that I cant because aages ago I set myself a low deposit limit.

I e-mailed stars to try and sort it all out and in the mean-time deposited my limit ($500). Since then I have increased my roll to ~$8k. With very aggressive brm I want to increase my roll to $50k and be back playing the $500s and $1000s in the new year.

My plan is to play the heads up hyper 100s and 200s as my main game until I reach a $15k roll. Then play the 300s as my main game and take shots at weak $500 players.

What is your reason for playing the hyper turbos? Obviously you will be able to get more volume in but do you think you have more of an edge in these than turbos?

My edge in turbos is maybe twice as high, but I can fit 4x as many hypers in as I would during one turbo. They are also easier to multi table, and there is way more traffic in them. Also a lot of mediocre regs that I can play if there are no weaker players around.

What buyin where you playing with a 500 dollar roll?

$100s because I had every intention of depositing once my limits were increased so I wasnt bothered if I went broke for a day.

Just finished for the day. Ran really well playing 200s and 300s towards the end of the day. Up over $10k now!

For how you are running you should be at 50k by the end of November.

Im running like god at the moment, but I really hope I can get to $25k by the end of the month. Prepare for some sickening downswings. + or - $5k days are pretty common even with decent volume.

I also have a secondary goal- to get to 500k VPPs by the end of the year. Still have 60k left. Hopefully both goals will converge by the 24th.
