True, i can beat 25NL tho... i just have to stop my ranges from drifting. Playing HU/SH on new tables really seems to screw with my FR range and then you get the HU bad beats that really make me tilt.

Anyway, this is a fun experiment and i'm back up to -70 in the last 400 hands.
400 more hands or so and i'm back to breakeven for the day

I had 2.5 BI's when i started this btw, when i was up for the day i was at 10BI's. The swings aren't that bad if you play with a bit of self control.
It's when you start screwing up that graphs go up and down like crazy.

OOOOOOKAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
why can't i always just play like this? stupid fish that i am ffs...
I basically made $150 in 700 hands... that's 43ptbb, wow just wow.
See the graph below to laugh at my fishyness

I played anywhere between 1-7 tables. When my BR was at it's end i started 1 tabling and i build it up again as my BR allowed.
Mega monster session helped me unlock $30 of my bonus (and i'll be getting $24 rakeback from this session as well)

Time played: 11.35h (39.45 table hours)
Hands: 3164
Profit: $11.32
0.72 ptbb/100

Total profit: $157.67
5.6 ptbb/100

total rakeback/bonus: $50
Total WR: 7.37 ptbb/100

Total BR: $275.00
Total hands: 5632

graph for the day

It's way too late and i played way too many great and bad pots to put them here.
I did mark some hands for review but those will be posted later if i still need help with them.
I'm just glad that i'm back in the green for the day.

New day, new session.
Started out crap, dropped $40 in my first couple of hands.
Now, 387 hands in the session (1.2h) i'm up $77.34 (39.97ptbb) with my BR at $365

Won a ton of small pots and 2 (almost) full stacks.
Also unlocked the next $10 of my bonus.

Quick break now and then back to the grind.

Sigh... i keep screwing up...
Ran my $77 profit into the ground to like $5 in 100 hands...
Mostly because of headsup play but there's some really really dumb moves in there as well.
Funniest was losing a buyin with AKo vs A5s with him having hit the 5

Spoiler:
I'm back up to +$138.48 now tho, running 20.13ptbb which is more normal then 40ptbb
BR @ $437.69 atm

I got $20 in bonus more tho, wooohooooo!

holdem full ring up to 50NL (where i busted my BR), SNG's up to $5's, MTT's up to $2 and -3BI's of 50NL HU

My results:

Crap to decent.
- In MTT's i seem to have been mostly lacking the discipline to keep my stack intact untill after the bubble. I've cashed a couple of times and my biggest score was $250'ish in a $1 tourney.

- SNG's i've always done pretty decently.

- Cash i'm decent enough although i used to get stacked by sets every 5 minutes and my showdown winnings are below my non showdown winnings.
I've improved a lot but now i seem to be lacking a ton of value on the river (mostly betting too big)

- In rush cash i seem to get crushed in showdown pots so for now i'm not playing that anymore

My lessons:
- Stay away from MTT's unless you're completely calm and sure you can play 6h+ uninterrupted.
- Play some SNG's every now since i've always been a winner in these.
- Try to get more value in cash games from my big hands and stop bluffing vs passive people.

My goals:
realistic short term:
[ ] $500 on FTP
[ ] $100 on pokerstars
[ ] learn and crush some PLO games

long term:
[ ] get to 100NL on FTP
[ ] get to 100NL on stars

bonus points for:
[ ] get some discipline and use decent BRM
[ ] stop stacking off like a braindead squirrel

My tools/method:

On FTP i had $17.58 left after a horrible week at 5NL rush. I then cashed in the 50k madness freeroll for $50. and after playing a bit today (+$40.11, 14ptbb) i'm now starting out with $107.69
And i'll be playing 25NL, if i at any point drop to $50 i'm back to grinding 2NL/SNG's

On pokerstars i ****ed up a bit with playing tourneys and my roll there is back at $27.32
Here i'll be playing 2NL and if i get bored enough i'm going to take a very early shot at 5NL.

Untill the end of the month i'll probably be playing only FTP to get as much out of my $100 bonus as possible

oh yeah, in before busto

Sure, it's not copyrighted or anything...
You do owe me a link to your thread in here then
And perhaps a link in your thread to mine

Are you willing to pay that price

Lol thx
Still going strong in 25NL. About to start my last session and if i make $63 i'll be opening up 1 50NL table.
If i lose 2 BI's there, i'll close the table and keep playing 25NL untill i've got $500+ again.

I've got a bit of a mental block because i don't want to donk off todays profit tho (like i did earlier )

What a day, what a day.
I seriously have a problem after i get back from a session break. I always lose 1-2 or even more buyins before i get back up.
Mostly because of 3 barreling, 1 bad beat or so, some more barreling, then stealing too much, calling 3bets too much, just everything that you shouldn't be doing. AKA: bad play

Got $2.2 rakeback from last week and got $57 more incoming next friday atm.

Better than being the best losing player in the world At least you have found a problem area and now can work on it.

Nice comeback btw, thought you were gonna go busto there

lol yeah, it was close... at one point i was back to 1 tabling because i didn't have enough money left in my BR.
Todays session was a cool one too
First hour +75, break
Then back down to 0 and back up to +140, break
Then back down to +40 and back up to +240, break

I'm considering into stepping over to 50NL tonight or i might do it tomorrow. Not sure yet.

played some quick 50NL, won about half a buyin. Updating todays stats

Time played: 7.6h (36.3 table hours)
Hands: 2635
Profit: $273.52
19.65 ptbb/100

Total profit: $431.19

total rakeback/bonus: $82.2
Total WR: 12.42 ptbb/100

Total BR: $580.74
Total hands: 8267

Anyone know how i should best calculate my winrate?
Because taking the 50NL results and the 25NL results together will make the winrate become unrealistic won't it?
I'm guessing PT3 does it automatically, any tips on what i best do to easily calculate it manually?

WEEEEEEEELLLLLL
today was crap, total crap...

played some 50NL, got busted, played som 25NL for BR building, went back to 50NL, won a bit back, got busted again.
Apparantly 50NL is really full of fish. seriously, the things i've seen today...
i also played some HU.
First went down to -5BI there vs some shortstacking fish also. I adjusted to his loose passive playing style and in like 50 hands i was at 1BI profit vs him.

Then another guy, won 4.5BI's from him over 300 hands. Then in the next 600 hands i went on and lost that AND 3 more BI's to him.
This guy was running a maniacal 60/40 calling left and right with the weirdest stuff, floating flops with air and when he hit a piece of the board he wouldn't let go.
Last hand vs him was the worst bad beat of the evening (worse then getting stacked twice in 3 hands at 50NL FR by some fish getting lucky)

Suffice to say i've nearly busted my BR by not moving down again... Lost a wopping $355.31 over 2507 hands in 11.85 hours (25.07 table hours).

Time to get back to the 25NL grind.

SOOOOOOOOOOO
As usual when i play bad, i take a little break and everything is just fine again.
I thought about it, looked at what i was doing wrong, slapped myself in the face and adjusted.
Just made about $400 playing HU... Bringing my 50NL HU total for the day at 1903 hands earning $225.35
And enough to also compensate for my 50NL FR losses.

Bringing the day total to +$35.84 in 12.98hrs at an amazing 2.26ptbb

My graph is a big jojo and i'm off to bed now

I also played free the last 2 parts of my $100 bonus so that's an extra $20 for the day.
For today i should also be getting about $40.90 rakeback. so overall not a bad day i'd say (except for the swings, but i learned from them)

Playing underrolled certainly isn't for people who are easily scared. And this is now the 2nd time i've almost gone bust (had only about $250 left in my account before this miracle).

sick graph:

That big jump up around hand 1600 is when i first adjusted to HU play vs a donk. First got stacks about even, then stacked him for the rest.
It's funny to see someone call off 3BI's with TPGK

BR now at $636.58
Total winrate has dropped a bit to 7.91ptbb

got $102.2 bonus+rakeback
and so far i've got $100 more rakeback incoming.

Fish like me?

Everytime i go on a downswing i feel like the most idiotic player ever, and at that point i probably am.
Then i crush the FR game or yesterday i crushed a guy HU and i feel so incredibly awesome...

This looks like me when i win another buyin from some guy.

sigh... again i suck.
It might be HU variance, but i know for sure that some of what i did in the last hour really sucks... I need to stay in the kiddy pool for shallow stacks for now. I need to become a hit and runner it seems

soooooo, was down to -9BI's at one point, ran it back up to -2BI aaaaaaand then the idiotness began. I got seriously hurt at showdown tho. My play itself wasn't too aggressive or anything like before, i just need to learn some better pot control instead of doing crazy stuff.

-$421.75 today over 2489 hands in 5.7h...
-16.94ptbb or a very expensive -$73.99/hour

Anyways, it's back to 25NL grinding for me, for real this time
BR is at $214.83, so that's ok to grind 25NL for me.

Dumb plays make me a sad clown, and my BR even sadder.

50NL... I'll be back... Probably sooner rather then later because of shot taking now that i know you.

Doing ok at 25NL again at a decent 17ptbb after 329 hands.
Started out a bit bad swinging down to -$15 twice after some stupid moves. Cimbled back up pretty quick tho.
Was at +$30, then lost vs a 50bb shortstack with AK < 77. I hit a king, he a set. meh, happens.
I'm at +$28 again so i'm fine

Now to get some hands in and run my BR up again to $500

edit:
Sigh, moments after i typed this i ran my TPTK into another overpair from a shortstack. lost 40bb.
I'm still at +$28 today

update:
1421 hands in (3.67hr, 19.83table hours), +70.21, 9.88ptbb
might call it quits, might continue... we'll see.

had some horrible horrible bad beats.
Worst was when i lost a buyin to a guy raise-shoving the turn into my nut straight with gutshot+two overs (which were drawing dead).
He rivered a 3 outer for the nutter straight. FML.

Won some nice pots from donks like him too tho (i stacked him later on).
Anyway, standard stuff, i played good imo tho and i'm pretty devastatingly honest in that aspect (see my 50NL HU work )
