Looooong time reader and never made an account to post, BUT today that changes! I've been online/live poker for many years with far too many of them spent as a struggling losing -> breakeven player. I had a massive change to my game about 2.5 years ago with the help of amazing some amazing coaches/teams. I've since been able to climb from losing at 5NL and 10NL to crushing 100NL (last 2 years results below). My recent 200NL shot finally stuck with having an absolutely AMAZING past month sitting 200NL (pic also below). I am admittedly running extremely hot, but I am welcoming the positive variance with open arms.

The amount won over the past month is pretty overwhelming and I know the momentum probably won't last, but it has gotten me thinking: is it possible to become a pro? To provide some context, I am a full time working guy who dedicates most of his spare time to the game we all know and love. Due to my very fortunate salary I have never really considered going pro since I'd be hard pressed to match the hourly + benefits of my job. However, my success over the past month has really gotten me thinking and while chances are slim, I think there's a possibility. I'd also want to possibly leverage some other routes (mentorship, content, etc.) of income too.

Anyways, I'm not sure exactly where I want to take this blog, but the main goal is to document my potential transition to salary man -> poker pro. We'll see how I feel, but I'm thinking monthly or weekly (when it's an exciting week) updates to the results. I'm of course also open to discussion and sharing my insights or hand histories. I think my username might give it away, but I am a heavy user of MDA and I'm sure plenty of others on here are too. For the sake of protecting my edge's longevity I'll probably be reluctant to reveal certain details, but I will do my best to answer all questions. Thanks for following along guys!!!

Last 2 years of results from 25NL and up

First full month of 200NL (the running hot part lol)

Nice results! Is this a region locked or the global pool? Sample isn't huge but if it's global that's INSANE. Even region locked that's a nice win rate for 100nl.

So yea, most of my past 2 years results is region locked to one of the juicy US regions. Unfortunately my job took me away from there so I'm currently no longer able to play there. 200NL results I posted is a mix of great clubs I got into. I kind of have a sick dream to be an ACR crusher at +200NL, but we'll see about that. As I type this I just got out of a pretty sick session (sick in a bad way lol), so I might've made this post too soon. I've just been super hyped about the game lately and honestly have been riding the positive variance for so long. Thanks for your response and hope you follow along more

Not a fun weekend at 200NL...might post hand histories, but we'll see if I find the motivation. Pretty drained from the weekend.

Very nice blog, I am also a big MDA guy so I am pretty happy to subscribe and follow your journey.

I had my fair share of these -5 to -8 buy-in days, got pretty desensitized haha, but I still feel drained, it's usually being put in tough spots over and over with the usual set-ups, coolers and bad beats being put in between.

Then the next day the opposite happens and it's like the small downswing never happened.

Thanks, appreciate the kind words! I know it's all just one long session, but not fun to get beat up in condensed periods. You give me motivation to keep updating and keeping myself accountable though!

Small 10k hand update! Nothing really special, been battling it out a lot and breakeven. I think I was so hyped at my 1 month heater at 200NL I jumped to make the blog, but the past 0.5 months has been a lot of fighting. I was starting to think I'm a poker god, but only time will tell....

Last 10k hands below:
