Hey guys, figured i might as well start one of these lovely threads to help track my progress, keep motivation, and interact with others.
I am currently playing 10NL FR on Tilt. I am 16 tabling at the moment and will get iron man status this month. however next month I am liquidating all of my medals and FTPs for miniFTOPS tickets and playing many of the events. After this I think i am going to switch over to stars so i can play more tables if i desire
I plan on posting graphs/hands. maybe i'll make a video if i figure out how (not sure i own the necessary equipment)
Background/about me:
I am 22 years old and just finished college with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. I have a minimum of 4 months to play poker as I am awaiting to find out whether or not I have been accepted as an officer in the Air Force and wont find out until june.
As for poker I started playing when i was a senior in high school when my friend x-fer'ed me $20, i busted it in like a month or so and then he sent me another $40 and i havent had to deposit since. I was pretty bad though at the time. My first year in college I was up to $100 but one night lost around $85.
This is when my luck went hot lol. I won an $11 HU sng followed by a win in a $16 18 man SnG. I then sat 2 50NL tables and had $250 stacks on both. Next week I played a $20 HU Tourny and took 2nd for $400 the next day played same tourny and got 2nd again for another $400. withdrew most of the money and started studying playing 25NL which i have done for like 3 years now. My total cash winnings is close to $4k. and my biggest score was a Stars PCA step 6 2nd place for $1400. a year ago though i got bored with poker and withdrew most of my money and didnt start playing til this year.
Started with $200 and played mostly 10NL 6max rush with some FR in there. got my BR up to $510 ATM and plan on staying at 10NL jsut for a lil while longer.
Here is my FR graph for this year. the first ~27k hands is me playing 4 tables of 10NL FR rush, after which i decided to revamp my game, watched a video from here and started 16 tabling. which is what I will continue with.
I plan on playing at least 3 hours a day, sometimes slightly less sometimes alot more depending on plans/mood etc
I'll be happy to post anything or answer any questions as i go along
