I'll answer more indepth, but to answer your questions quickly. In regards to BR to start out isn't really the way.. Think of it as a video game, you want to beat the final boss (lets say this is NL100) In a video game you don't get given the tools or resources to be able to just instantly get up there and kill him. Hes on top of a big hill and you need double jump to get there, now the game just puts you on top of that hill and everytime the big boss swings you can't jump over the hurdles he throws at you as you don't have that double jump and you now get smashed back down.

So you start at Level 1 (NL2) you start developing some skills, and able to jump a little higher, and eventually you're able to double jump and you now can beat the final boss (NL100) But along the way you need to beat each level, and each limit while gaining that experience and skill.

Now these skills alone are hard to get and you've got them and now you beat NL100, which brings me to the other question. What is the difference between NL100 and someone who beats it on the ultimate difficulty (2/4) Because someone who can beat it on ultimate difficulty still have the same skills as the person at NL100, but they are much better at applying them, they are quicker, they are stronger, they get up and move on quicker, they keep hitting that restart button and they don't stop until they do it. They eventually complete it and now they want to perfect it, so what do they do? They do it all over again, and again, and again. They don't play the game once, complete it and put it down. They play it until it burns to them.

From my personal experience of playing NL25 a little over summer was that the competition is awful. This is all in comparison, as someone who beats 10/20 will say that 2/4 player pool is soft, and a 1/2 player will say 2/4 is hard, and NL25 is easy, its all about the baby steps.

I don't think you can ever excel at a limit below NL50, maybe even NL100. Below these limits you're constantly looking to move up (and obviously at NL100 too, but allot of people get stuck here) Get the fundamentals under your belt, there is no secret formula it is hard work. If you were to be a fly on the wall watching someone like clyde for a day then after that day you will realise how little work you actually do, and how much work it actually takes.

We are awake for 16 hours a day, now try to think what you can do in 16 hours. Think of someone who works 9-5, that 8 hours. How many poker players work 8 hours 5 days a week? People are lazy by nature, even people who work 9-5 in a non-demanding job, they have 8 hours awake todo what they want everyday, 8 hours to sleep, 8 hours to work and 8 hours to play, yet people will say how they don't have time to do things, they don't have the time or they are tired.

Now thats diet, get a good routine, good diet, good exercise. Thats 2hours, so now you have 8 hours of solid sleep, 8 hours of solid work, and 2 hours of gym, 6 hours spare still. We need to eat, so lets go with 2 hours to eat, thats 4 hours spare.. Thats 20 hours a week, and then you have 2 days completely off from work, so you have a spare 36 hours a week. I bet noone uses that 36 hours 100% effectively, and effectively could be relaxing, spending time with family/friends, it could be having a shower, thats all effective. Watching cat videos on youtube isn't
