I want to start seriously blogging my efforts to raise tuition money.

Main goal is 15k. I've got some minor goals as well.

So yesterday I played some tourneys and was down a bunch on the day. Decided to bink a $27 SCOOP satty to the Main Event L for $109. Obv took the $T.

I think I'm going to focus on sattys while soft SCOOP ones are still running. Pretty low variance and generally quite soft.

Total BR's at about 350 bucks iirc.

dude just to let you know, 350 is wayyyy too small to be playing $27 HUSNGs, nevermind MTTs.

the variance in MTTs will have you busto unless you run like god, no matter how good you are.

good luck with your more than worthwhile goal.

when I returned to college to complete my degree some 15 years after first attending I was lucky enough to have a new casino region open up some 200 miles from my home.

I was able to win enough playing 2 deck blackjack to pay for my tuition.

this was in 1995 so many things have changed concerning that game but I have to beleive that the that your goal is obtainable because I was successful in mine.

minimize unnessesary expenditures and stay focused on your decision making processes and scheduling. You may very well reach that goal.

(And yah I'm staked atm - sorting out details atm for a new deal. Will update regularly once I do that)

Special thanks to Custer who was my first ever micro backer, introduced me to MTT games and put faith in a poker newbie when I had no credentials to my name.

So I came second in the 10r last night for 9.9k! (just missed out on my first 5fig score)

Put up a new blog post. This makes us 3.5k/15k for our college goal.

Still missing that elusive 5k score, but I did do some cool stuff this past month. Had an issue with my Stars account so been Tilt grinding. Here's my scores for the month of June up till now:

10r 15kg - 3rd for 2k
The Fifty Fifty - 3rd for 4.1k
10r 15kg - 6th for $770
$75 23kg KO - Chopped HU for 4.1k + $165 in KOs

Two two 10rs went towards makeup though so it's really the other two scores that I added to my roll from.
Also discovered a super soft style of 6m game at FTP and will be playing cash on my own money to boost roll.

We're sitting at 8.3k or so total funds since this started!
