Watch me become the hardest working ssnl player in the world! ***Freerolls ITT***
I woke up on Tuesday at around 6pm and had my theory driving test at around 3pm on the Wednesday. I was awake for 21 hours, and although I'm sure lack of sleep was a factor, I'm certain that it wasn't the only reason. I will pass it next time though. In fact maybe I'll give out a freeroll if I don't?
Great day today!
Called this off expecting to lose tbh.
Snookered on that turn vs tight reg.

Just couldn't make anything happen yesterday.
Vs one of the toughest regs.
Vs whale. 56 gets there and he could play 4x like this, so I probably should've just folded vs his river snap jam.
Vs weak reg. Don't know if his range is very polarised to 6x or nothing or if he could bet all his 2 pair combos otr like this aswell. Either way I doubt he'd make a hero fold.

Just couldn't get anything going yesterday. I also went to see Chris Rock's new stand-up show last night. Which is why volume is so low.

Agro reg. Can't really see any bluffs upon review, so definitely think I should have folded river. In game I did strongly discount AQo combos from his range.

Hopefully I can put in another 3600 hands today!
On H1 that board is really bad for your range, it's good to just check back with a ton of hands, using a small sizing is ok, but your hand doesn't do really well vs raises. Another approach is to check back a ton and bet big with a smaller range OTF, going for 2 streets of value, like with AA/KK, sets, 2-pairs and big draws as a bluff, maybe AJ for value too. QQ looks like a better hand to check back, since it blocks villain's bluffs and unblocks his value combos. I'm not sure about the QQ/AJ approach. OTT it's a fold, your draw is usually dominated and villain's bluffs have tons of equity vs you(if not already ahead)
On H2 squeeze pre, gotta play that HU pot vs whale and the squeeze itself is quite profitable, the reg is expected to play straightforward with a whale in the pot. You will get a ton of value off the reg and the whale, since the reg will still have to call with tons of weaker aces and AJ destroys the whale's range. Villain's sizing is quite bad OTF imo. He should either bet small with a decent chunk of his range for thin value or go explo big to get max value from the whale and ignore that you're in the hand.
wp on H3, vs a huge nit it's possible to find an explo fold OTT.

It's the easiest valuejam OTR with AQ, specially with the Ac, with offsuited AK it would be close though.
I know you don't like my opinions on stuff, but this check OTR is insanely nitty.
I can understand why you checked there, and it makes a lot of sense when you think about your specific hand. But there are some rivers that are so strong for our range that we should start turning hands into bluffs, because villain can't do much on those spots given how strong our range is in comparison to his: the best case scenario for us becomes to take down the pot. Tbh AQ wouldn't be a hand that is turned into a bluff, more like AK. AQ is still part of our value range vs a solid player, but with the nittyness of your environment you could say that you're turning AQ into a bluff there.
This is a river where villain should overfold most of his range, and if you start checking AQ there, it would be a right approach to exploit you by folding everything but flushes. It's really hard for you to find bluffs OTR, you would need to be barreling a ton of stuff there OTT and always jamming them OTR, like all KTs/TJs/45s combos(which is a good move OTR).
As an explo approach vs a weak reg you could bet 33% there with 2-pairs, but it's bad if he realizes what you're doing.

I may have some bias in my analysis since people call me super light and people probably find reasons to fold vs OP, so it's likely that it's 100% a jam for more aggro players and more like a check for tighter ones.
The bad thing about using 2 sizing here is that is very hard to balance them, also good players will make our life a nightmare if they start jamming the river over our 33% bet. Some people will realize that we don't have anything better than 2-pair and jam all sets/AQ and will choose how much they want to be bluffing there vs us. Even nits could show up with a range very unbalanced towards bluffs in that spot(if they start turning SDV into a bluff), so it's a disaster if we bet-fold there. And it will be pretty hard to know if we're good by bet-calling.

I guess the relevant question is whether villain would call a shove with AK or worse two pair there. Not sure if they would? Either way the shove would be for value, not as a bluff.
His range has too many flushes and I'm blocking his most likely hero call hand (AcJx)
20% otr seems to get called by A4 specifically, but in game I discounted that a little, as I thought he may raise flop with an A4s combo.
I assume you mean 78cc, 76cc and 54cc? (Not sure I'll 3bet all 54,67 and 78s pre fwiw)
Yea, I definitely believe that by jamming we'd be value cutting ourselves very hard.
At ~70500 so I'm sure I'll probably get there now boys.
Maybe he thought he had A9???

it's not very hard to balance actually, it was pretty much exclusively block betting AQ and A4, calling a shove 80% of the time with AQ for minimum defense, also tiny frequency of blockbetting AcKx, even smaller frequency of 87ss, 76ss and 54ss
rest of range is either check or shove
rest of range is either check or shove
Really interesting stuff. Have you tried using only one sizing? From my experience it seems if we would have one sizing OTR it would probably be a jam, right? Is AQ in that jamming range?

Why bluff there though? I mean what are you folding out that's better than top two pair? I also don't really get what would call a shove OTR that's worse than top two? Is it me or doesn't that seem like self value-ownage? I think if the board had no Q and he had top pair second kicker and maybe wanted to fold out an AK or something better he could shove with the Ac. If he had tptk with AK there though again not sure what the purpose of the shove would be?

The blocker bet looks so fishy though- it's like a "don't hurt me" bet. At 200nl nobody will do much about it but against good players they usually spaz out. I personally raise quite often when someone puts out a fishy bet like that.. Not saying its not a good play, but it can be exploited.

Is America's Card Room as soft as Pokerstars? I just started on ACR this week after playing Ignition for months and honestly the plays you're showing are really fishy even for Ignition, I don't see people calling huge bets with top pair no kicker there at even 25NL. Unfortunately ignition doesn't allow multi-tabling over 4 tables so I have to run both.
Also, you usually seem willing to stack off with TPTK- does this get you in trouble often? Nearly every time if the majority of my stack goes in with TPTK I'm beat, just surprised you're able to basically win 100BB right there with it more often than not.
The blocker bet looks so fishy though- it's like a "don't hurt me" bet. At 200nl nobody will do much about it but against good players they usually spaz out. I personally raise quite often when someone puts out a fishy bet like that.. Not saying its not a good play, but it can be exploited.

I am always happy to stack off with TPTK when the villain has no sets, straights, flushes or two pair combinations in their range!
