Hey guys!
I'm a 23 year-old Scottish guy who has been playing poker full time for a few years now. My biggest achievements so far in my career have been:
December 2014
And November 2016
My previous goal has always been to make it to midstakes. But now after so many failed attempts to leave small stakes for good, I just don't think I could deal with the stress of $15k-$20k downswings that all midstakes guys encounter from time to time. all I want to do is replicate the graft and desire I had back when I accomplished the above. That means focusing almost all my attention on 100nl and 200nl full ring cash games, to try and become
the best reg in those games.
I've had a really disappointing 2017 results wise. I did make money from poker and I also made a nice chunk from bitcoin but it hasn't came close to the ~$67k year I had in 2016.
A big problem for me is that I have virtually no living expenses, and I'm not interested in material things, so I've saved up a huge chunk all of the money I've made from poker and therefor it's easy for me to fall into the trap of doing as little work as I think is necessary. Which is precisely why I'm making this thread. No longer will I play 90 mins of poker, and then spend the rest of the day playing FIFA and watching Netflix!
I'll be doing lots of freerolls throughout the year to help me stay motivated.
Freerolls
- If I play less than 83,333 hands in January 2018 I'll give
$25 to the first 10 posters ITT.
- If I go 48 hours in 2018 without posting in this thread I'll give
$500 to the first person to point it out in the thread.
I will try and post new freerolls on a monthly basis or when new I have goals or challenges in mind!
Also you can follow me on twitter for some poker posts, graphs and the occasional rant about Brexit.

Good luck in 2018 guys!
