Eh, his sizing is a little concerning but you should probably peel one because he's probably going to give up too much OTR when he's bluffing.

BB's line also doesn't make any sense. Why would they risk giving a free card on such a damp board texture when there is no certainty you will even bet this turn card? It doesn't even hit your perceived range. Calling.

I'm folding and not questioning it at all.

Seems strange, sure, but I don't see this as a bluff hardly ever. So him giving up these bluffs on the river doesn't really change my decision.

I also think villain can feasibly have 10 set combos here. The board isn't that wet really.

Weekly Progress Update 28.07.2014

Graph for week

Results For Short Term Goals Week Commencing 28th July 2014

1. At the start of every session make a post-it note of two things to focus on each session. One to be strategy (such as 3betting/cbetting etc) and one to be work related (such as mark hands/make notes etc). Aim for 100% of making the post-it! - Definitely good to do this just to remind me of something I am working on and help me to focus. (Week = 5/5)

2. Post every single marked hand for the week somewhere and prove to yourself you did it! - Done well on this, having this goal seemed to make me do it 100%! (Week = 21/21)

3. Check a preflop range versus another player every time your trigger cue happens. Measure YES or NO and keep running total. Aim for 100% completion. - Did this every time this week, new trigger was better. (Week = 5/5)

4. Post a "hand of the day" into blog. - Done every (playing) day. (Week = 4/4)

5. Play 8 hours. - Played 5 hours 29 mins. 2 hours 31 mins behind. Massive fail but can't get too down on this, main part of work on houses is completed (still got tonnes to do but not panicking now!)

Just failed on hours goal which was kind of expected. The new goals worked really well so will almost certainly keep it the same this week.

Nice upswing at the beginning of the week and ended with an awful session!

Ehhhh probably xc river, obv we can't get value from Ax but if he jams he has Ax himself too often to fold as well as like Kxhh which might bluff.

Don't think the sizing is awful on the turn. You make it too big and you're in danger of missing value from some hands and basically value owning yourself.

I don't hate a check on the flop, but maybe that works better whan it's a little less dynamic.

As played, I like a bet/fold on the river. Probably a bit less than half pot. Maybe like $20 or smth.

EDIT:
Just seen TDA's comment. Maybe x/c river works better idk. Don't really see many hands being turned into a bluff though as a lot of his draws might just take the SDV (such as KJ, QJs, KT)

Not sure if serious!

Obviously my full NL50 graph is awful as previous staker jammed me up there too early (I don't regret that btw, there's nothing like getting your butt whipped for getting you to learn faster!).

But....

I am sorry Sir but I don't know to well how to reply to this. I am using this thread as a journal of my complete process from being completely rubbish at poker to becoming a professional player. For me I will need a bank roll of $40000 or so I guess, maybe more (figures like these are totally person dependant I think).

I could not be a professional poker player with $760 but maybe somebody could!

I wish my bills for ten days were anywhere near $760 (wife and two kids = no chance!).
