Hey,

I started a blog, which I really am going to put in the time and effort to manage. I will start with the .25/.50 NL shallow games on Full Tilt and later decide where that will take me.

So far, I have my first introduction entry, and then an entry with my first update. I hope you will find my blog enjoyable and entertaining and also that you will help to add your thoughts and comments to my blog as I post!

I will also write entries in my blog just about my random thoughts on poker, as well as my thoughts on strategy, bank roll mgmt, etc

My goal is the nosebleed stakes, or making 6 figures a year from poker as a side hobby. Not sure how long this will take, or if I will go busto, but it sure as hell will be fun to give it a shot!

Thanks for your support!

Just read your blog. From the stats you posted in the most recent entry, there is a decent gap between your VPIP and PFR. This could mean that you are limping or calling too much preflop, probably in the blinds. Do work on your preflop aggression and hand selection.

I can't say for sure, typically it is bestto keep the ratio as close to 1 as possible. Something along the line of 22/19 sounds good, but some players prefer to play a 25/22 LAG game.
