I posted it because I noticed a lot of people worshipping the OP for his motivation. So I presented some cold hard facts that show the OP is a losing player, and a pretty big losing player at that.
Technically yes the OP does have "motivation", if you want to put it that way, but I prefer to call it delusion. He's been playing since 2008 and he's
still a losing player. 8 years playing poker and still can't win.
You say he would've made money at a lower average buy-in - well this is simply not true. He didn't make any money for his first 35,000 games, which were all at a lower average buy-in. He moved up in stakes and got crushed.
It's not even variance either - a 42,000 sample size is more than enough to determine you're a losing player.
My guess now is that the OP has moved on in life, moved away from poker and is pursuing something he may actually be successful at. Poker obviously wasn't working for him.
