So much staker propaganda in here its disgusting.. It's very normal for people staked to tilt, as long as they are long term winners it does not matter the money always comes back.

**** the point of staking is that people have problems and you take a goddamn chance on them because they are long term winners. Stop spreading bull****.

Good luck urubu, dont feel bad about the staker's money, just about yourself for tilting. He's making good money long term no matter what the only person losing from the tilt is you.

think posting about tilt in my PGC helped me deal with it its kinda carthartic, helps focus on the suff you need to fix since it accounted for a massive amount of bb/100 when i was playing like a monkey. your plo game is obv sick so by making your mental game solid is defo the best way to increase your winrate overall - anyway lovin the thread GL and vamooo :p

Most dont tilt off 35 buy ins tho, or go and flip for a few 100k when they play mid stakes..

That´s the beauty of PLO. You can go on uber tilt pre and just hit every flop and get ****ed and it looks like you actually played well.

Some of the hand histories confirm major tilt. You just don´t produce that kind of graph by 5-bet shoving Q632 rainbow on a regular basis lol.

On a serious note, I wonder if urubu ever took any anti-tilt coaching (Jared Tendler or something like that). This should pay for itself soooo quicly assuming he does have 1 major tilt day per week at PLO 1/2 (and we´re not even factoring in the opportunity cost of being busto/having to get a stake a lot of the time).

Obv urubu didn't tilt badly as he only lost a bit of EV (or maybe he did, but ran well while doing so in EV setups). He just emphasised the situation w/o posting the EV graph at first to make it seem worse before it looks better, party to "test" what would happen, partly to prepare for a likely future precedent of actual tilt where he drops 20 b-i in EV.

My view on staking in general and staking people like urubu in particular... In terms of an investment it follows the same rules as most ones do - risk is proportional to return. You would never in the first place have the opportunity to stake the really talented/best players have they not had the tilt/degen problem that leaves them without bankroll at times. So as long as urubu is ethical and honest, staking him is +EV but you have to be ready for a very wild ride.

back on grind, playing only 1/2 regular tables . not playing that zoom, and not playing 0.5/1... i noticed i wasnt payint attention to play plo100, was taking some decisions thinking ''hmm whatever, only 20bucks'' and 20bbs it 20bbs. so now, all focus will be at 1/2 .

by the way, its fun playing w yayarny, phisherman and valueclown at 1/2... i played w them at 5/10, 10/20, and they used to play 25/50on regular basis. at phisherman's account i suspect its another guy playing, because he is playing ridiculous exploitable in many spots.. isnt the fearless phiserman who i used to play in 2013...
