Ill do this tomorrow, just came back from having three days off.

May graph.

~120 hours played. Went to Stockholm as a finale to play the Swedish championship PLO tournament but it was a sad story for everyone involved. I busted before dinner break and Oscar shortly followed. Matte was the only one past the break and he bubbled unfortunately.

June has started soft. Worked two days this far and had three days of due to the amazing weather right now. Been 25-28c and alot of fun things to do. Alot of football and training aswell.

Plans for june is to work as much as possible and it depends mostly on the weather, if its good or not. Besides work, I only got football to focus on and since I exlcluded other activities that took alot of time/focus, things has been going well.

Posting a couple of hands tomorrow from the beginning of june.

Ive been poor at updating troughout june so here is a delayed graph from the month this far.

As you can see, the volume is lacking. Alot. Thanks to the European Championships. Almost everyday its three games at 15,18 and 21. I love it but poker kinda has to take a step back. Fortunately the effect of this is that I play very well when I do play. Focused and with a clear mind. I cant say that I have a perfect balance between work, leisure and training right now but if I put more time into leisure/training, poker actually gets better. Its only two or three weeks left of the cup so after that its more time for poker. If the weather isnt really good again as it has been on and off in june...

Some fun hands from this month thus far.

              June summary.

The nice weather at the start of the month and European championshipīs start at the 10th made this a not so great month for poker. With all distractions going on, my attention was elsewhere. Its not that bad but my minimum in any month should be more then I produced in june. At least I played very focused and felt content with my performance afterwards for at least 90% of my session.

My plan for july is to work alot more. Ill always try to get 2x2-6 hours sessions, five days a week, leaving two days free to either work more or just leisure. On saturday is the last football match and after that I have a break for three weeks which will surely open up alot of time. In terms of volume and hours put into poker, july cant be worse then june.

On another note. I signed with Run It Once and produced my first video for them last saturday. Ill be working with them for over a year ahead and Ill be producing mainly HUPLO material. I think this is great for me since I have alot of experience of doing things the wrong way and now I can help other players avoid the same mistakes trough RIO. A way to give something back to someone out there. Its also beneficial for me as I kinda have to put my thoughts and decisions into words and that is not always easy, sometimes finding my logic just being too stupid.

So. Time to get to work and make july great.

              Long overdue .

Ill be back updating now in 2017 since Ill be working more stationary compared to last year. That allows me to work more hours and also be more active on Twoplustwo, PokerJuice and Run it Once. Ive been missing that part and I finally finished my move to a new apartment and got my office setup so I can pick up what I enjoy doing; working and communicating with other players.

I think Ill make posts on whatever comes to mind. It will probably mostly be hands or thoughts about PLO. Most questions are always welcomed of course. Im hoping to make this interactive again and enjoyable for anyone who still reads this.

Not a very eventful day at the tables which allowed me to spend some much needed time working at my mental game. I studied "The Poker Mindset" thoroughly two years ago but I recently felt like I was slipping away from the fundamentals. So a few days back I started re-doing all the work I did the last time and I expect to be done within two weeks. Great book and I can recommend it.

Got fifth in the daily $55 Omania. I dont think the money is the biggest aim with these tournaments as I try to play at least two per day but I believe the benefit lies in that it makes it easier to put the hours in infront of the computer.

As I said, not much action today and this hand was the most exciting over the small sample I got. Villains line is questionable.

              Hi Viktor,

Why is vilain's line questionnable? I think it's a pretty good hand to CR with a blocker to your 2p combos and wrap (+ weak bkdoor FD). I guess his turn play is spewy though with 120bb stack.
What hand would you CR on that flop as a bluff if you were vilain if you don't CR his hand?

              Cheers

Hi there. Maybe I phrased myself a bit wrong; I think its more correct to say thats not how I would play the hand. Having too wide of a c/r range on this flop will lead to alot of variance unless you have a decent read about the opponents tendencies and that c/r is a good way to exploit those. As a standard strategy, I would prefer just sticking to KJT and QQ when it comes to value in my c/r range and include some bluffs such as QJxx or KTT/KJJ. If you go wider and include hands like JT83, which is a hand that plays excellent by calling, you might end up with reversed implied odds in alot of situations after you raise and get called/re-raised. Along with that your shutting out hands that you have 65-75% equity against. I would feel fine having mentioned value hands with bluffs and put everything else better then pair+gutshot/bottom twopair in a calling range.

I think his line isnt questionable when I think about it, just different to what I would do.

His line is pretty standard tho having a 3 might make me prefer a c/c rather than c/r.

Seven nights at the new apartment and fourth working day. Settling into new routines and I dont have much spare time after working and training. I dont know anyone in this city besides the football team which is quite nice. Allows me to have more focus on poker which is what I want.

Action has been quite slow last two days. Today I only had two matches and alot of downtime. Perhaps I shouldnt expect any different in mid-january. Its not really a bad thing as it allows me to do essential off-table stuff. Right now its soloely working on "The Poker Mindset" book and coaching but once Im done with that Ill start digging into something interesting on the game technical side.

Here I finally found a bluff to include into my line. I normally dont have a ton of off-suit Qs here.

Just tournaments. Occasionally zooming but very rare.

January was a hard-fought month and I played alot. Unfortunately not so content with my performance.Im looking to correct things in february and it has started out well. Its when I start taking things for granted that it derails.

Not much else going on besides playing, coaching and training. My plan for february is those things basically.
