Hi 2+2ers. I've been reading the forum for the last 3 years or so and playing a reasonable amount of poker both online and live. I'm from the UK and have had a few good live scores and built up an OK bankroll.

With what I've got I decided that it would be worth an indefinite shot travelling to Vegas and playing 200NL cash. The plan was to have about $50 a day expenses and find somewhere cheap near the strip to stay as part of that. Whenever I cash out I would put something like 10% of what I take into a "social" fund so my I can have a bit of fun out there. With a roll of something like $8k + it's a matter of how long I can stay out there. I'm a winning player so making sure I work out the cost side of my trip is the MOST important thing to me. It'll be a fun adventure and I'll enjoy the challenge of working with what I've got and essentially, the better I run the longer I can stay (Visa permitting).

Anyone else done or thought of doing anything like this before that has any insights? I'd love to hear from anyone (Americans/Brits/Anyone) who has considered of tried this and how it had gone.

Is it realistic? What are the pitfulls? I love poker so this challenge appeals to me and if it fails, so be it, I'll get on with my life back home

Thanks
