This villain is reg. He raises Cbets IP 15%. This is a perfect board for him to raise me on. I notice he has the green v3 badge, which stands for 'Fold to 3bet on Flop'. I decide before my cbet that if he raises, I'm going to 3bet him small and hope for a fold. Sure enough he raises, I make a small 3bet and he folds.

I don't make plays like this very often but this opponent is repping hardly anything at all here that can call a river shove. This opponent is one of my frequent foes, that should give me a fair bit of credit. I checked his checkraise popup and noticed he was weak 2 out of 3 times he had shown down. I decide to flat in position. King comes on turn and he bets less than 1/2 pot. At this point, I think I can get him to fold most of his hands if I raise here, but I thought calling would be more believable. My thinking was he can't bet the river with his mid pair hands that may have raised the flop, and he will most likely fold to a decent bet. He makes a blocking 1/3 bet on the river and he has the red BF badge, meaning fold to river raise. I jam on him and he tanks a bit and folds.
River: ($14.82) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $26.48 and is all-in, Hero folds
Spoiler:
Results: $14.82 pot ($0.74 rake)
Final Board: K 9 3 9 2
CO mucked and won $14.08 ($6.92 net)
Hero mucked J K and lost (-$7.16 net)
This hand was pretty confusing, and I really wanted to hero call him. He is a 19/15 nit. I checked the turn because he has the blue vM badge meaning he bets a lot vs. missed turn cbets. I figure he will fold most that I beat if I bet. So he bets just like I planned, and I check call. My plan is to call the river, but he overbet shoves it. I check his river bet popup, and see twice he's overbet the river and had the nuts, so I decide to lay it down.
We have gotten some recent positive reviews in the 2+2 software forum for Notecaddy Edge. Check them out if you're interested.
1 customer suggested that I make a video playing blind (covering hole cards) just using Notecaddy Edge to see if I can turn a profit. I'm going to try this out. It will be a very tough challenge, because I won't be able to value bet. I will only be exploiting folding tendencies. I'm going to try this at nl10, for either 500 or 1000 hands. Can it be done? We'll see!
I tried to play 4 tables without seeing my hole cards and see if I could turn a profit.. It's so hard even at nl10. I can never call or value bet. When I started showing down some garbage I had no credibility, so it was really tough to gain any respect after that. I may try later, but for now, that's on hold. I will make a regular 4 table video though.
Time for an update. I've been running really terribly. My EV difference is huge, and also I feel like I'm not getting my share of coolers, like my opponents are getting vs. me. I keep telling myself to clear my mind to not think about being so unlucky at the table, and that seems to help quite a bit with tilting. I think I'm playing fairly well overall. I did have a couple sessions where I made some big mistakes though. It's still a small sample size so hopefully everything starts to even out soon! I will be putting more hours in.
The graph and results are since starting this thread.
On the plus side, Notecaddy Edge is really doing well so far!
