A Final Adornment
I started this journal in absolutely terrible physical (I hesitate to say mental as well due to how much better things are now in relation to the past) shape and I'm proud of where I'm at now. My GABA receptors have been returning to normal and insomnia is no longer a handicap.
Poker wise I finally feel like I've learned how to win.
This is the final chart for 2021:
+$150 on New Years Day.
Closing thoughts -
I feel very lucky to be in the position I am now. Being alive during this pandemic is what matters most, and I'm sorry to everyone who lost friends and loved ones.
I've been playing poker on the internet for 17 years now, that's quite a large number in hindsight. My passion for the game is still as big as ever and I'm learning to love putting in the hours.
I'm planning on visiting Vegas twice this year. I have a business partner out there who I've never met in person which excites me. It would be nice to find a backer for the WSOP but I am not holding my breath. I'll be playing a couple of the low buy-ins and also Venetian deep-stacks, or whatever is running. Hopefully is the the emotion - I'm not willing to risk getting sick - the pandemic numbers have to be down for me to travel.
I had a humorous exchange with Stars support the past couple days. I was 95% of the way to obtaining a gold chest when I decided to exchange down and acquire 3.5 silver chests, only to find out there was 1 silver awaiting me and 10,000 player points were down the drain. I contacted support and was given an official apology; I inquired if the points reduction were in the terms of service, they replied it's not and because of that I was awarded a $3 MTT ticket. Of course this wouldn't have happened while Isia was running the company, but the meme 'stars gonna stars' seems to fit everlastingly.
I hope everyone is excited as I am for the future.
See you guys in a few months for an update.
