Thanks for the feedback. I agree with your statement.

One silly thing I did is play spins for 25c instead of casino games which I used to in the past. Played approx. 200 but the ROI is so low that they don't make sense to play.
Cash games are meh.. at the moment. Played a little zoom which is a rule breach, but thankfully didn't spew.

BR $262.

Ended February with 15k hands +$26.51 average winrate 6.24bb/100

Graph: NL2

Spoiler:

Graph: NL5

Spoiler:

Starting March I will post the sessions results

1 Mar : 285 hands +$6.26
Struggled to find thin value bets on the river.
Finished the session with the very last hand tripleup full house TT on T626Q (flush draw on flop and completing on river vs calling station and decent looking reg both having flushes)

2 Mar: 246 hands +$7.19
Really aggro players both preflop and on the flop. My adjustment was to no open light and let them take the action postflop

2 Session 269 hands +$6.65
JJ early postion vs fish caller in the SB and aggro looking player squeezing. Decision was to 4b shove 80bb and hit AA
Definitely the evenings are better with 4 players at the table being loosie goosie

BR $281.48

After couple of days of losing every important pot and tilt setting in, I hastily decided to cash out.

Only rule I kept is the casino one.

Rules:

No cash out - fail
No zoom - fail
No casino, sports bets (this is a big one, I spent 200$ on blackjack in one night and ended up BE, thankfully)
Move Up after 20+2BI for higher stake (2 BI shot) - fail

I need to judge if I should continue playing or not...

I have not given up on poker just yet...

Re-deposited $100 and here we go again.
Last sessions are not great. Did some work on the ranges and not sure about the results but I am more confident in some spots such as defending versus 3bets.

Will not impose volume rules moving forward.

Won't be looking at results only once a month.
Volume is not great, but I can see some improvements in terms of opening percentages from early positions. The button is still at 35ish.

Cbet stats are a weird. I would like to see a higher cbet more IP on the flop and lower out of position

Just found this thread and look forward to watching the progress.

My (unsolicited) advice:
- Be aggressive pre-flop. GTO Wizard offer a free account that includes all pre-flop ranges. Get on there and check them out. Look at the amount of hands being 3-bet and give yourself an idea of what you need to be aggressive with.

- C-bet the flop way more. Especially in 3-bet pots. It’s tough to fire c-bets in bigger pots as they feel costly but trust me this is the main source of profit in poker. You’ve got to be aggressive.

- learn the player types, fish; stations, nuts, maniacs. Regs; TAG, LAG. And then learn the key exploits. This will help a lot with beating the micros.

- as others have said. Don’t worry about volume. Study a spot then play a few tables at your A-game then review your session. Once you start to improve in general add another table or move-up or have longer sessions.

Hope this helps. Any questions just shout.

I look forward to watching this thread.

April: not great

Played 17k hands with average winrate of 1bb/100

I've checked my cbet % in 3bet pots and it is around 60%. I could not find the ranges mentioned before from Wizard

Biggest advice is get out of $2NL I always tell people I'd rather you make no money and learn at $5NL+ than sit long and build terrible habits at $2NL.

$2NL is the one stake I'll always avoid when doing $100 to X challenges.

It's simply very close to not real poker. Either way you shouldn't be messing up basic things around $2NL either. Bet your big hands and bluff almost never outside of a few Cbets. Which is why $2NL is dumb. Even $5NL you can't just blast off bluffs they have to have a reason with fold equity.

AK is a 3B and it's not even close. QQ hand I don't care it's $2NL. Nothing is terribly wrong. I'd still slightly size up as nobody is thinking enough to exploit you can balance a small amount but you're only doing to give more opportunity to make mistakes. I'm certainly not just playing passive tho

May: still not great

Again played zoom which set me back about $10

The microstakes mindset is hard to get rid of.

Played 25k hands. Winrate sucks so I will be stuck at 2NL and 5NL for some time. Tried to play more aggressive especially tried to 3b more.
