hey all so having been playing poker couple of years now mainly depositing $100 putting it all on one table and spinning it up cashing out or loosing,
never really stuck to bankroll management cause always wanted to get to the higher limits straight away and the times i did get to the higher limits never dropped down slightly to build my bankroll higher couple of beats and the rest gets tilted.
so played live last night £2 £2 blinds with £5 straddle brought in for £200 did okay then ran bad 2 hands in a row and went bust , did not rebuy just watched my mate playing a tourney, he has less playing time and expereince than me but i was just amazed as i watched him crush this tourney and he won it. he gave me some of his winnings we have always done this when either of us win money,
anyway so with some of that i am doing a min deposit of stars of $60 and going to start over, back to reading books articles and these forums i am using solid and strict bankroll management and iam in no rush to move up stakes i will only move up when my bankroll dictates
be intersting to see how i can progress by using patience bankroll management and with out the greed
will be starting at $2 nlh and $1 sngs

I would suggest taking a bit more conservative BR mgmt plan. Wait till you have atleast 40BI at your current level before taking a shot at the next. You should outline a specific BR mgmt guideline and try to stick to it.

GL!! Hope to see you at 50NL by the end of the year!

in the words of sheldon from the big bang theory BAZINGA
played to more sessions ran so so well i played some $2.50 sngs and multi tabled $5nl and up to $350
so decided to 2 table $10 nlhe and 2 table $10 plo mainly played nlhe but thought i would just play only 2 buy ins just to mix it up
was thinking if i drop to $310 i would drop back to $5 nlhe and would grind up again so first hand on plo i get AA KK raised got reraised then 3 others called
flop Ad As 9d i check there is pot bet re pot bet which would put me all in and 2 others one was on flush draw the other had 99 i scooped $45 in that pot
basically after three good sessions today
my bank roll is now $500
and obvs you want prove so will upload my deposit history then will show you my cashier page
i have not invested in software but have just seen you can get a free trial of holdem manager and then next month if i like it will buy the software

Okay so how this happened is just total heater. I loaded up $60 yesterday on stars my bankroll is now $2000 and obvs some might think iam lying but have taken a photo of the deposit amount and will take one of the cashier screen will post it on here when I get back from work tonight.
Now back to bankroll building cause I have run so well and have the roll to play higher iam a bit concerned that I don't play higher limits straight away so I think iam gonna take a shot at $25 nlhe and focus on improving my game and dealing with varience and reducing tilt, have also restricted table limits now to $0.15.$0.25 blinds. Cause the temptation to play higher limits is there but iam not ready

So you are saying you played 10NL through the night and won 170BIs? Seems a little far fetched.
