Hey guys, thought I'd start my own thread, been struggling for motivation lately and I think this will help me achieve my goals.

Little backstory; I'm a 25 year old from New Zealand trying to make a living playing low stakes MTTs. Since I was 17 I've been playing online/live poker as a hobbie, just a way to supplement my income and have fun at the same time.I never went to Uni or anything so I have just been working random jobs since high school to get by.

I always kind of dreamed that poker could be my job but just never made it happen. Until this year. I was working at my last job which i'd had for 8 months, it was a great job, easiest work ever, good money, lots of hours and a cool boss. Then I watched this Joe Rogan video on youtube(at work) which I had seen before but this time it really got through too me. That day 23rd March I quit my awesome job. No notice, just said to my boss today will be my last day and that was that. 24th March I'm unemployed with $400 but determined to succeed in poker. I have a backing deal with a close friend which obv helps a bunch but I still needed to win enough to pay rent and bills.

Been playing for a little over 4 months fulltime and it has been tough, keeping a sleep schedule, being able to keep a positive mindset while being deep in MU and rent/power being due the next week but all you can do is just keep registering.

Which leads me too why I started this thread, I have set my self a deadline of Sept 16. I want to make $10k by that time. I'll be playing low stakes MTTs on stars exclusively. If I do not succeed I will be looking for a new job.
I will post graphs after each grind and happily answer any questions/comments anybody has.

GL! What does your typical MTT schedule look like?

TY! I like to reg from 1130ET to 1730ET then reg turbos for an hour or 2 after that. Playin pretty much every MTT in the $5-$20 range while mixin in regspeed 180s every now and then.

So basically played only one day so far, computer been havin massive issues. Spent the last couple days trying to fix it. Replaced the PSU and gave all the fans a good clean and it seems to have done the trick. Can't wait to just sit and grind without having my computer break.

Not going great so far, volume wise and money wise but I still can't wait to play tomorrow. The biggest thing holding me back from grinding daily is keeping a sleep schedule, so thats mainly what I'm going to work on over the next couple weeks. GL everybody

Tuesday was probably the best I've played in a while. Was fully focused for the 12+ hour grind just wasn't able to win in some crucial spots. Still confident I'll crush my goal of $10k, just have to keep registering and putting in the work off the table and I'll inevitably start winning again, easy game.

Yea bro, important to stay positive and just focus on the things you can control.

Missed Wednesday grind, looking to play for a couple weeks straight now and really step up the volume.

Run up a few nice stacks in some good tournies, but again variance just isn't on my side at the moment. Still playing really well and feel like and upswing is just around the corner.

Another quick update, gets boring posting losing graphs all the time. Days are just melting together, wakeup/poker/excercise/movie/sleep, rinse repeat. Still gonna crush this goal tho
