Insane Action At The B - Las Vegas Day Three.
Started off the day by visiting the welcome to Las Vegas sign, and then walked towards the strip. Also finally hit the apothecary, a recreational marijuana spot! Also had in N out burgers for the first time which did not disappoint. And of course, insane action at the B!
In our first interesting hand we see a raise from a recreational player in MP to 25. We decide to just flat OTB with A
Q
and go to a flop of Q
8
9
. Villain fires 30 again and we make the call. The turn comes the 5
and this time villain checks to us. We make a wager of 65 and v check raises to 220. We make the call and see a K
on the river. This time v fires out 400 and we make the fold.
After being stuck a good amount early after this hand we pick up 9
9
in the SB. There are 3 limps to us and we bump it up to 40. The the UTG limper who we have covered (800) calls, and the CO Limper who is an OMC (290) makes it 90. We call and UTG calls and we see a flop of 9
J
2
. It checks to OMC who makes it 100. We call and so does UTG. The turn is the J
and we check. UTG comes out and bets 200. OMC calls, we jam, and UTG calls. The river is a brick and we’re good against AJ.
After getting moved from the must move we get moved to a not so good game. The 2/5 games as well as the only 5/T at the Wynn looked horrendous, so we decided to head over to the Bellagio. With 5 5/T games running it was hard to go wrong.
In our first interesting hand at the must move we are involved when it folds to us in the SB and we complete with Q
9
. The BB makes it 40, we call and go to a flop of Q
T
8
. The flop goes check/check and we see a Q
on the turn. We check again, and so does v. The river is the A
and we lead for 140. V thinks for a bit and calls. We’re good.
Our next interesting hand comes when we make it 40 to go with A
Q
from the HJ and are called by two recreational players in the CO and BTN. We see a flop of A
6
3
. We decide to check, the CO checks and the BTN bets 80. We call and so does the CO. The turn brings us the 8
and we check again, and so does the CO. This time the BTN bets again, this time 200. We call and CO folds. The river is the Q
and we check one more time. V bets 200 and we call, and lose to K
9
Later on we get into a game with Andrew Neeme! After we are moved from the must move we get moved to his table. Didn’t even know he was at the table, as he was away when I was moved, but finally the man in the 2 seat showed it up and it was him! I will not be getting on the vlog, I’m sure of that as we played no interesting hands. We are in for 3k, with a 1.5k stack when the action becomes insane.
In our first interesting hand at the new table we raise K
K
from UTG+1. MP, BTN, and the blinds call. We go to a flop of Q
J
2:diamond. The blinds check to us and we bet 130. Only a recreational OTB calls with 1k behind. We go to a 8
turn, and this time make it 200. He calls again and we see a 5
on the river. We check, and v bets 340. I don’t love it but it’s definitely a call against this V. The first card I see is the A
which sinks my stomach a bit. But the second card is the K
and we take it down.
Next, we open A
J
to 40 UTG. A recreational, and an ABC young reg OTB calls. We go to a flop of 5
3
4
and lead out for 60. Both players call. The turn saves the day, the J
we decide to check, and the recreational behind us wagers 100. The BTN calls and we decide to put in a raise for value, making it 400. Only the BTN calls and we see a 3
on the river. We check, v checks back and we’re good.
The big pots were NOT over. There is a straddle on, a limp in the CO, and we make it 90 from the SB with 7
7
. The Straddle makes it 190. We are 3.2 eff and he has us covered. The limper folds and we call. The flop is quite favorable as my new table mate would say - 7
3
T
. We check and hope to let V hang himself. He wagers 200 and we call. The turn is the 5
. We check to him again and this time he wagers 600. We just call again and see a 2
on the river. We decide to lead for 1100 to target hands he may check back with here, as I don’t think he’ll have pure air here as played. He tanks awhile and folds.
Just one orbit later there are two limps, and a straightforward middle aged female regular makes it 50 from the CO. We flat in the SB with J
J
since we have a big action player in the BB as well as one of the limpers. We end up going 4 way to a flop of J
8
7
. It checks to the original raiser who has us covered. We have ~3k. She wagers 210. We make it 520, and only she calls. The turn is the Q
. This time we decide to go smaller, 480. She quickly calls and we see a 7
on the river. We jam river for about a PSB and she folds. We’ll take it. Still not sure what she could have and as played.
In our final hand of the day, we raise A
A
to 40 from MP after a whale limps UTG. The CO, who is another whale calls and so does the limper. We go to a flop 4 way of K
8
6
UTG checks, we wager 80 and MP makes it 220. UTG folds, and we jam for 1.2k. He has so many worse hands that I don’t think he’s capable of folding. He thinks for 3-4 seconds, calls, and we lose to 88 after the board runs out two blanks.
All in all, got to play in some great games and have great memories to come home with. Success in my book.
