A coaching session with you is worth more than 250$, so even if that means I am selfish, I am in for that

Yeah this was part of the buy, previous owners actually sent us $ beforehand for this work (although I think I spent it on something else ) Anway, it's sight for sore eyes and hasn't had work on it for 25 years.

Bright side is that it's finally getting warm out. There was something immensely satisfying from grilling out on my deck, dog in the yard etc. Just need to get pool open and it will feel like the American Dream.

I just tried to hit a fair price, but I do think I'm probably a better coach than player so no shame in taking that over charity!

Hey, I actually just got a simple gaming computer (legion from Lenovo). I was between that and a build my friend Daniel (SOF) sent me, but it was a bit more expensive and I didn't trust myself/didn't want to spend the time building it.

I'm getting much more done solver wise having a seperate computer though so it's going to pay for itself over (spent about $2k)

Yes, trying to go for the sick one month work ethic, work ethic was a big issue for me growing up so I'm glad poker at least made it better.

TY boys! will end up picking the winner at the end. Almost half my hands are untracked so I'll be able to show my tracked amount of hands. I'm counting all the untracked hands through replayer after every day, so you'll all have to trust my integrity

I'm at 8k hands now after 3 days of playing and Monday off, so already 2k hands off pace. I'm slated to play the next 6 days and the goal is 27k hands. I will not be adding more tables for the sake of adding more tables of course, just going to increase my hours playing and add one or two more 1-2 hour sessions.

Week 18: April 27th-May 3rd: Last Light Week for awhile

Poker

The difference between my A and B game is completely cavernous, and unfortunately have been playing lot of B game and worse. I still had a nice week results wise mostly due to rungood. Had my first big suckout at 5k where I made a pretty bad misplay in hindsight, luckily I hit my 18%.

Otherwise, it was an ok week. I'm really struggling in pushing myself to play those 2 additional hours at the end of the day. When I don't feel like playing I usually stop but perhaps it'd be better to push myself out of the comfort zone.

I'm on pace for about 75k hands so the freeroll is looking good for most of you. I had coachings all day as well so i'm a bit behind today.

Otherwise, life is still good. Me and my wife started the Sopranos, usually watching an episode a day. At the end of S1 now and we're loving it. Outside of that, same old same old lol.

Some hands to break it up.

1.)The only battling ive done really in last month or so, vs strong HU reg, was getting killed so v happy to win this one.

AJ from the sopranos used to play some at the Borgata a while back. I played a 2/5 session with prob 10 years ago where he got hammered and lost 15-20k in a 500 cap game. He was saying some of the most obscene stuff to the cocktail waitresses I’ve ever heard, anyone else would’ve been booted.

Good question, I actually had to ponder this for a bit before I answered. I think I do a very good job of explaining concepts in ways that make them easier to grasp than the average player. Also, in general I would say I'm very approachable/easy to work with and not having an ego when I coach as far as admitting i'm wrong or simply saying "That's a good question, I'm not sure about ____. If I had to take an educated guess it would be this, but maybe ask _____ coach as he's stronger in this aspect of the game then me.

Other than that, a lot of my 1 on 1's and GC students have done quite well (this is mostly on them, but there is a correlation)

It was on the WSOP network so no tracked HH unfortunately.

Run down of hand is good reg opens SB, I 3b BB 87cc, he 4bs 2.6x I believe, I defend. Flop comes K 5 4

SPR is 1.5 and he bet 1/3rd and I jammed which in hindsight is definitely the worst option I could pick although nothing feels to great either!

I binked the 6 on the turn and hit a 2nd on the river for good measure, rewarded for mediocre play

Poker is tricky, because in other professions if you put in extra hours when not focused, it will have some small effect, like 2h will actually be 30 min of progress. But in poker it can go into minus hours
