Below are my cash results since i've really been taking them seriously. (Early March.)

It's hard to play more than ~10 hours in the week and most sundays and you can see it in my volume. Anyways, tired of taking beats late in tournies and having them negate my cash results.

The Bad News is i already caved and played a few tourneys* The Good news is i just saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to GEICO....J/K



*I thought about it a bit more, and having a tourney in the background keeps me grinding ALOT more. So I' switching the rules, not exactly to what yet. I had planned on setting it so i could only play <$15 MTT's and only ONE at a time. But with this score i may ease up on the restrictions...for now.

Also, up a good amount in cash these last few days. Excited to post my first weekly graph on Monday/Tuesday.

Ya I think you should go hard on mtt while learning cash to subsidize the roll. Your a sick mtt grinder and you should take the money you can make as you spent hrs learning. Also if you plan on playing cash play live man. It 100 x easier and hrly way higher if you can. This and last year my 2/5 hrly was 129 and 5/10 + was around. 170 with a -25 k run last month .

Hmmmmm yea, i've never really played too much live. Its so slow and boring, but dam those are some sick numbers. In regard to Tournies>Cash, it's more of a matter of stress than whether it may be the better decision. I hate being tied to my comp, and i also don't have more than a few hours a day to grind, so i often stay up till 3-4 am stuck in a $11 tourney, only to lose AA to Q5 for CL or something and then tired as **** the next day at work. Also, the play in these cash games is so horrid there should be a word invented for it, Shmoogalybop? If i can keep this up in the $100-$200NL range, i would be very happy.

And it continues...I had a bunch of nice stacks and realized pretty much everything had an overlay so i registered for EVERYTHING. May have blown a couple stacks (had like 3 18+ place finishes) but in the end, can't complain...

LOL. Love this thread. MTTs are so dumb. The cash games on bovada are filled with donks. I would know, occasionally I'm one of them. Oh and the cash games get easier at the higher levels imo. At least up until 1/2, 2/4.

I generally agree, until I see the 2 scores that were put up in a couple of days and end up wishing I could make 2k at a time playing 10nl. Lol

Lol mtt pro trying to turn into cash don'k . Mtt life is very painful and not for the weak . But with that said you should still do whatever you can do to make as much money as you can now. Tom is not promised .

Played a few tournies tonight, still in a few but winding down. Took 5th in a small tourney for ~$150. (Lost 88 to A3s for pretty much a lock on 1st/2nd).

Anyways, gonna play a hefty multi schedule tomorrow, and barring a biggish score, will prob go back to my mostly cash plan. Excited to post my first weekly graph, it's looking purrrrty.

This is good to know! I honestly don't think i've played one hand of +50NL on Bovada. But def. eyeballing moving up soon.

Thought about it and i doubt i'll play any cash tomorrow, so posting the weekly graph early. All hands at 50NL and most of the hands were Tues-Fri. Hopefully, I can keep it up.

Ughhh, pretty butthurt about this one. NOt just the way i busted ATs<Q3o but i went into FT as CL. (5th-$703.10)

One more. Really thought i was going to ship this one. Had a fat stack with 10 left and took a big hit right before FT, battled back and finally reshoved Q8s to KK.

IDK what else to say but LOL about this last few days. I'm actually a bit sore about the way i busted the two FT's last night but i obv can't complain. Who makes a thread about never playing a tourney again and then wins 5k+ in the ensuing few days.

Honestly though, i've already cashed out a lot of it. I don't need the money, but i know if i have a fat BR it will only hinder my will to ween off tourneys. I left enough to have a healthy enough roll to take a shot at $100NL so i'm going to give that a whirl. Likely next week as i'm quite burnt out and have a lot of real life work to do.

Had a lot of work IRL to do most of the week and didnt play. Played a few tournies last night but played some cash and a decent tourney session tonight and just got 3rd in a $33 for ~$860. Shoulda at least got 2nd, but ended up running AQo into AK to the big stack.

Also, won a $162 $200k ticket for $22 bucks tonight, so looking forward to playing a nice schedule Sunday.
