Introduction
Ok so; Since nobody wanted to join my 10k challenge () I'm gna do it on my own. General idea was to grind up the stakes starting NL2 and moving up to the sky. I started with 10 Euros 3 weeks ago using the Kelly Cliterion (hope thats what its called) BRM. Played A-Game, invested loads of time in my game and moved up.

My Past
I'm Jason 19 years old from Germany. I started playing Poker in 2008 I think and I mostlikely spent my time on being a tilting spewfish. Cashed in a lot, motivated myself to play serious to the sky and donated it on nl400 0.2 stack BRM

At some point I actually got a lucky session where I started with 50$ and pushed it to 2.1k in 3 hours PLO HU and decided to play serious. I played alot of PLO HU on FTP and got a few coaching and even tho being quite a bad player I ended up moving on PLO200. Had a few Coachings in that time so I actually managed to run with like 4bb/100 + RB and a bit over EV. But yea FTP down = me broke.

I tried to rebuild on Stars for quite some time but didn't have the motivation. Lost a few 50$ cashins. 4 weeks ago I decided to go serious again due to waiting for September to start studying and I wanted to do something with my money. Also obv semineeding it for a living. I had around 350Euros and I decided to go allin with it and take 3 hours coaching for 300 euros and playing with the rest. That's how I did it. Tho instead of starting with 50 I ended up starting with 10 Euros playing NL2 on Stars (zoom).

Last 3 Weeks
Total crushaments basically. Kelly Criterion BRM helped me alot. Basically moved up to NL50 within a week. Cashed out about 400$ -> Moved up to NL100 -> cashed out 400$ -> Moving back to NL50 -> Moving up to NL100 cashing out 1.000$ -> Moving back to NL50 -> Moving up to NL100 -> Today shotting NL200 losing 1 stack or so back to NL100

I played around 10k hands on NL2 / NL5 / NL 10 but did save my HH in german and didn't notice it since I didn't use HEM on those limits. So basically my graph starts at NL25/ with NL50 Shots

My current BR is somewhere around 2.100$ and my aim is to reach 10.000$ within the next 4 weeks.

If anybody is still interested in joining or wants to u2u send me a PM with your Skype. I'm also very interested in getting somebody to buy and go through the "Double your 6Max Winrate" guide.

Notes:
Only played 200 Hands 2 Table Zoom. Was kinda bad session. Played good despite a few hands and yea paid for them. Kinda spotdead like my overall feeling the last 1k hands. I'm cool with it. I'm thinking about going down to NL50 and kinda grindout that swing atm. Sounds stupid but actually worked out for a few times. Might also play 1 more sesh nl100 and see how it goes tomorrow.

what is Kelly Criterion BRM ? and how does it apply to cash games?
then I do it on my own Quote
05-21-2012 , 10:03 PM
It's a shot BRM. For example:
I have 1.000$ and play NL50 (20Stack BRM)(10stacks for next limit) -> Take a shot at Nl100. -> Drop 1-2 Stacks Move down to NL50 -> got 250$ left move down to NL25 and so on.

It's basically as safe as the std 25 stack brm but in terms of income it's kinda inconsistent. But I just want to reach the highest Stakes as fast as possible. Still I play that BRM a bit more conservative using 12-14 stacks for a shot and move down after losing one.

Okay; Plan for tomorrow is getting 800 VPP's for 50$ bonus. If this ends up to be a winningday I'll shot nl200 a bit.

#night all
