managed to get in very solid volume without playing any 180s today (101 MTTs at $25 ABI which is higher than last months ABI)

very happy with that schedule and the level of focus i can bring to the tables so gonna keep doing that. ran like garbage when i got deep tho, multiple top 30 finishes in big turbos, a bunch of big stacks in all kinds of stuff that didnt pan out, managed to pull back a lot of the days losses in this beauty tho:

I saw the 55 vs 99 hand in 11 1r1a yesterday, what was your thought process in that hand?

Seemed like a pretty decent cold4 spot as I'd expect the guy to fold up to 88 if not even 99 some of the time meaning I have decent EV when called by AQ+ TT+ from both players, stacks were such that btn can afford to be wider than he would if there were one or two rejam stacks behind (he had 30bb bs had 26 I had 30) and thus the sb who was fairly active should be very polarized here too meaning I have tons of immediate FE and enough sdv to make a profitable jam. Felt like shti when I realized my timing was what probably made him call off, rly need to work on my timing tells fwiw I'd be jamming A3s there usually and I think 55 has more equity in that spot (less FE cuz we don't block anything tho) so ya decent spot bad timing I think

^^ I've had this thought recently and have been guilty of it.

Sometimes if it takes you too long to make a good shove then you can accidentally cap your own range and give away a lot of the FE you need to make it profitable.

Guess with enough volume things become more automatic, but in the meantime it's something to be aware of...

played really well today i think, cutting out 180s and playing a higher ABI on less tbls with more focus def has been paying off, i ve been running up tons of stacks in all kindsa MTTs and pickinh up on spots i normally wouldnt which feels great.

8th in the $75 5k
15th in the 433 500cap
45th Big $22
16th $109 12k

but sadly on the nontechnical side things went down the drain today, I made the FT of the Big $33 with basically only weaker players yet for some reason decided to make an ICM chop when 4 handed leaving sth in the neighborhood of $800 in real equity on the table, was totally pissed off by that despite making the biggest cash of the year. pokers a funny thing

thx bro, been playing fulltime since january 2012 if that what you mean been playing around 100 mtts/day 4days a week this year tho i did have a fair few 120 mtt days and one massive 180 games sunday i ve decided to drop 180s this month and focus on playing well rather than volulme which seems to be the way to go for me as well as playing a higher ABI (almost $30 now), hope that works as an answer to ur question best of luck to you!

I play every day of the week except friday. Im playing like 40 mtts starting on 11r 15k gtd and ending my registration on 215 turbo ,adding 15 and 35 180s turbo making a average hour per day like 7 or 8 hours on grind. I will continue follow your job. Im tiagomanu on pokerstars by the way.

Actually I have been dancing tango with the gf fairly regularly this year. Going to our sixth session on Monday and then dancehall dancing on Friday. Anybody who has never taken any dancing lessons I would def recommend to take some tango lessons, it's an amazingly beautiful dance and tons of fun plus a real nice way to get talking to nice ppl!
