I didn't play a lot of cash today since I didn't want to be distracted while I was playing big tourneys but I know some of you guys who subscribed to this thread want to rail real poker and not tournaments so I had to play a bit.

Hand 21: This guy is 16/11, not sure if he's good or not but he probably doesn't have Kx or Qx very often after checking the river.

Lately I have been minclicking it back vs fish who raise me on the flop when I have like top pair good kicker or better. Feel they spazz pretty often, so would have been something I would do with the QQ. You should try it atleast

I'll try doing that, maybe I can get guys to shove their bottom pair on the flop

Or Q high like how it happened today when I did it Don't really like it when u have top pair though, because you block his top pairs.

I need to learn how to balance my time better... I spent the entire weekend playing poker and all day today on reading for school (and I skipped all the stuff I was supposed to do before class today). I feel like I'd be a lot better at poker and school if I spent half the day on each instead, but I feel too tired to play after school and after playing school work is really boring.

I waste a lot of time watching TV, reading random threads on 2+2, and on sites like 9gag and this definitely doesn't help with time problems. In the next few days I'm going to write up a schedule for these things just to limit the time I spend.

I'm not sure if I should be adding Facebook into this list since even though I read everything that shows up on my newsfeed it doesn't take more than 5 minutes a day. I've always done this even between high school and poker when I didn't talk to anyone for more than a year and until recently I had chat on for only 3 people and now I feel like I can't turn off chat even though I'm still very uncomfortable with it especially since it shows when I've seen a message. I guess I'm kind of split because I really want to delete my Facebook to avoid social interaction but I still care about the people I know.

I meant to make a quick post about time management but I ended up writing a long story of the last 2 years of my life which I've removed all but a small part of, although I might decide to post it on my blog or in a youtube video sometime.

Yes bet bigger draw heavy flop, turn its fine, i would bet about half pot on the river since he limps i just assume he is a fish, a few times you are going to value own yourself.. but i wouldnt worry much against people that calls you 3 streets with second pairs.

Yeah I could make it $2 on the flop and then shove turn. I was putting him all in on the river but if he was deeper I'd make it bigger.

I think you have to jam turn. Like if he has 9x, TT, JJ, 8T, u just want to get it in now.

Yeah jam turn obv. you are not folding to a river shove from him anyway and it's not like he is going to turn hands into a bluff there ever.
Also this line seems way stronger the other line could still be AT/QJs w/e

Yeah I hit a big downswing and moved down, I really need to work on my game too after not playing much the last few months. I also have a bit of money in staking so I can't play as high as before but I guess that's mostly a good thing.

btw did you send me an email? You sent me a PM saying you sent an email but I don't see it in my inbox.

Hand 27: HUD wasn't up yet for this hand but I had him marked purple.

Whats the meaning of purple? Well in both cases I think you bet too small again sir on flop and turn. Biggest part of his callingrange is Ax, esp on turn, and it won't fold vs a bigger bets.

See now he is a fish, def flop like 2.30 and bomb turn for reasons mentioned above.

try to disable the auto import hands from HM2 to stop freezes

Yeah purple is the second worst color of bad I have. And you're definitely right, I have problems with getting value, going to pay more attention to that. I really appreciate the help!

had the exact same problem, then switched to PT4
but now the latest (beta) update of HEM2 works flawlessly for whatever reason
(switched back because of the god-awful import speed of PT4)

PT3 works like a charm, but that may be because I have a tiny database and I dont use a HUD.

I had the trial of PT4 before and it took forever to do anything... I'd filter for something and it would take 20 mins. I don't really want to spend $100 on PT4 either so I'd rather have my HM2 work.

Hand 28: Villain is an aggro reg who is 16/13 with 12.3% 3bet and has been 3betting me a lot from the BB and in late position in general with resteal 44%. His cbet is only 36% and I made my bets look weak but I'm not sure if he ever raises to this size on the river with Jx or a bluff.

I wanted to play again tonight but my dad gave me a bunch of recordings of when I was born to when I was around 5 years old so I have been watching those... it's really weird to see myself as a baby and I'm kind of freaked out lol.
