wtf, did that guy not raise you on the river with the 5s?

you probably get away from your hand, but he should still shove

He wasn't the best player but I don't think I should call a shove with anything worse. At that point I had been playing for 14 hours though so I could have made a bad call with 33 or AT but he didn't know that.

I'm pretty sure I know what to do in this hand but wanted to ask anyways. Also the complete hand is on my blog with gifs

On the A9h hand, I know there are no stats posted, but why no resteal pre? And no reraise on flop? On flop you have tptk with nut flush draw. Not saying your play is wrong or bad, just like to see other players views. GL in 2013 and I'm following you on Twitter.

Gl Peter with your goals, you can do it
That AK hand after he overbets and you have that nuts fd and tptk dont see anything but getting stack off on flop ASAP (its true that you are deeper but you have so much +eq that i dont see how to fold)
hope you hit the nuts

on the A3 hand where he has 55, if he shoved that river, you would of been getting just under 3/1.... pretty hard to fold A10 here for sure, and 33 is a call too and a cooler imo

but hey, im like grinding my way back up at micros, so what do i know :-)

Not anymore. If the next few weeks go well enough for me to think I can play some 2/4 but not well enough for me to be rolled for it which is pretty likely, I might ask some friends to take a piece.

I think preflop is pretty standard, I guess I could 3bet a lot there but calling is fine. On the flop if I raise all the made hands that call me are stronger and his draws with overcards play a lot better than me on the turn since he'll know when he hits top pair and I won't, and when the flush completes the money is going in regardless.

Thanks for following on twitter

Haha it never runs anyways, I guess I could play 6max zoom but the last time I was there (~8 months ago) I won a lot at 5nl and lost it back at 10nl so maybe you do want me.

Hard to put him on a hand I beat though. And I need to be calling more than 33 and AT for him to raise 55 since I have 99 and AA too and I might not have all combos of AT since I could fold ATo preflop or check turn.

Yeah, so far it hasn't ran much but with the small fields it's sort of like a normal table except for seats getting moved around every hand. I'd start normal tables but I don't know how to play HU and zoom doesn't start until 3 or 4 players so that's nice for me.

Yeah, so far from what I've seen it's regs waiting a lot. But I've only been around a few days.

If anyone can answer this or if a certain reg who does this is reading, I don't understand why people sit with 4 entries when the game isn't running. Doesn't it scare people off and when the game is starting 2 entries you get the same number of hands as 4 since tables only run 4 handed?

After another losing day I don't think playing as many hands as I can is a good idea. After 4 days and 34.6k hands I'm down 6 buyins, unfortunately I won at 50nl and lost at 100nl so it's a $800 loss.

I'm going to be playing a lot less tables and studying a lot more, watching a lot of coaching videos and talking to other players. I know these are the things that helped me move up through the microstakes so I am going to keep doing that.

I'm looking into getting coaching, if anyone has suggestions for coaches please let me know.

I had someone look over some of my big hands last night, I took some weird lines but I don't think I'm making that many mistakes in those spots. I think I'm probably missing a whole bunch of spots to steal small pots though and this is a result of playing too many hours and hands and tables and also since I love checking too much.

Today I'm going to play less tables and take a lot of breaks and hopefully I will see some profit.

Cmaan, can't fold there.. You're 100bb deep, with a fish inbetween you (more dead $$) and have KK. If he has AA, so be it. Plus, I think his range is wider than you think it is.. Because he is iso-ing light, and he knows you know this, so it's likely you're going to be 3b wider, so it makes him 4b wider. I shove here and I'm really happy about it. I'd entertain an argument to call (to trap in MP2) and open-shove any flop... that falls into the category of FPS imo, though. So, Shove.

Shove if he checks because I don't think we get stacks if a 3rd drops, I think we have the best hand here a non-zero % of the time and I think he calls with some weaker Ax (AQ, AJ). This could be spewy, and now that I'm typing it out, I am thinking it'd be reasonable to check back if he checks because we get to realize our equity for free, and it keeps his weaker value hands in his range (99, JJ-KK, A2, A3, A5-9). I really don't know

I'd be interested to see how you played the hand.

Agree with the first hand now.

I'll explain my thought process on that hand tomorrow, the way it ended out is on my blog (not allowed to post link but it's in the first reply on this thread)

Third bad day in a row, this one sort of feels the worst since I didn't play over 9 tables and 85% of it was at 50nl. My friend who plays 25 and 50nl was sweating me for the last 1500 hands, I'll post all the hands we had marked from that sweat.

Mini FTOPS is starting tomorrow and I sold a package so I'll be playing a few of those. Schedule here:

The guy is 16/7 .3 Probably one of the most passive around so once he raises he got it.

Hand 10 river gotta be bigger once you suck out. He is a nit so has way less fd in his range. Bet 2/3 imo

Hand 12 hate it when that happens

meaning: once he raises, he got something that isn't folding to 1 river bet ever that's also not AQ of spade or air of spades

We have enough eq to call vs KQ.
