Kind of a boring day so far, I was winning every hand for a while, then got stacked AIPF vs AA I think 5 times in half an hour, now I'm back to winning every hand. I think I'm up 6bi (10 midstacking bi) so far at 25nl so hopefully I'll be at 50nl soon!

    Hand 163: Is this a value-jam?

164: I think you should lead turn as played I think this is a spot you can bet very big on the river knowing villain has some kind of Ax / Two-Pair on the flop like KQ. You lost some value in this hand I do think.

164: No I think bet-calling his min-raise is fine. Once you bink turn in a 3-bet pot on a board like that where it is many two-pair combos I'd just try all I could to stack the guy.

You should always have full stack. You know you can setup that in the stars client so you auto-reload to your initial buy-in once you dip 1bb or 0.5 bb under?

It's hard to see him call with anything worse for multiple streets though.

So I just type in some random numbers like this right?

5-6 BI swings is standard. I've had some 2k hands sessions at NL 100 with 7-8 BI stuck to dig myself out. It happens, you just have to grind urself out. 4 BI is nothing.

Why are you not buying in full at 25nl?

I've been thinking a lot about playing on different sites recently so I've decided to give iPoker another chance. I played there the first time I was staked and I hated the software since I kept timing out and the auto rebuy kept turning itself off, but since then I've convinced many stakees to play there and my staking partner plays there and says the site is great. I really believe the site isn't as bad as I thought it was a year and a half ago, my main concern with timing out should not be a problem since it happens to everyone so it's not a disadvantage for me, and I know that everyone else is folding AA preflop too and while they're steaming I'm stacking them so it's an advantage for me. The rakeback is great, the games are fairly soft, and the site is safe so I really think it's the best site to play on at the moment.

I know it's pretty normal but it sucks when my stop loss is at 4bi for the session and 6bi for the day and I hit it every other day and have to move down.

Midstacking has so much more variance than full stacking, so you will hit your stop-loss much sooner and thus much more often.

That's not true, my standard deviation is 57bb/100 midstacking and 70bb/100 when I was playing full stacked.
