Hey all. A little about myself first - I'm 20, heading into my third year studying for a Bsc in Economics and I've played poker for a couple of years. Only recently have I become serious about the game and plan on logging my progress here.

Starting with a $60 BR I will be playing mostly 4-6 regular tables (sometimes zoom) 6 max. I plan on taking shots at 10nl at 10BIs and 25nl at 20 BIs. (Aggressive BR management I realise)!

Decent first day. Not too much volume as had a mate over all day so couldn't fully focus on many tables or get too many hours in.

I could've been bluffed very easily here but I just don't see how I can fight back. I never want to get aces in here at these stakes imo. I feel villian's range is heavily compiled of sets, two pair and combo draws which have huge equity vs aces. Against his range aces just doesn't do well. If we call we wont know which turns are bad for us and will just fold to any turn bet, if we raise and get it in it just seems a bad play in total.

Decided folding was the most EV play here despite villian being fairly agro. His range smashes this board, thoughts?

Not many huge pots apart from one spot which I got bluffed off on and made a bad fold. Decent play overall, ran bang on EV which was nice. Will post a graph and stats once my sample is larger. Bring on day two!

Had a rough day and restarted the challenge at 2nl. Grinded full ring 12-16 tabling and had a 8BB winrate over 4k hands today. This puts my br back at $50.

Will hopefully take some shots again at 5nl soon!

Not the best starts of the day - Timed out on 1 table and folded quads 3 way after the other 2 opponents had shoved. And ran Kings into Aces.

Interesting second day. Played a variety of FR, 6 max, PLO, HU Hypers. As always the majority of my profits and play will be 6 max. Came to the conclusion that 2nl is full of stations so decided it would be more profitable to grind out 18-24 tables of 6 max and just extract max value. If the flop is QQ9 and i hold Kx triple barelling with the nut blocker wont matter as 2nl players will just call all 3 streets for their stack with pocket 5s. So going to play very value orientated and just ignore my redline for now. I'll implement bluffing with blockers more at higher stakes and vs nitty regs on certain board textures at these lower stakes. Sadly lost a bit on PLO at the end of the day but won some HU 1.5 turbos (realised how insanely soft these actually are so will definitely be playing more of these).
I spend any FPPS I have at the end of the day on satties and then sell these tournament and convert to cash.

Up nice and early for a run tomorrow then getting plenty of volume in before going gym later in the day and then getting further volume in for the evening. Not much planned as finished second year university exams so mostly just fitness/poker unless I go clubbing. Probably get about 8 hours of poker in - All about the volume to escape these lower limits asap!

Brilliant morning session and then decent smaller sessions later in the day (Ran kings into aces pre and made a mistake in one hand where I raised a fh otr to extract value after villian led for pot giving me the impression he had a nutted fh. He then rejammed and I called to see exactly the hand I expected.)
Mostly just playing 18 tables of 6 max 5nl regular tables. Definitely not playing the most +EV poker but the volume makes up for it. (I'm making more playing 18 tables than I would playing 6 tables at a much larger winrate).
Will continue with 5nl if mass tabling and will take shots at 10nl soon (but will ensure I play less tables for that).

Haven't played much today (around 4k hands) but might get a bit of volume in later (like 1k), just feeling a tad tired and a bit burnt out from all this volume.

Haven't got too much motivation to play atm. Just making sure I get around 4k hands a day. At the 5nl regualr tables on stars there are tons of fish so i'm able to play about 18 tables of 6 max stacked and just go to value town. Good morning session, extracted huge value everywhere.

Redline continues to look disgusting but I know that's partially because bluffing against stations is -EV and also because i'm playing lots of tables and getting myself into bad marginal spots where I then have to fold on later streets.
Feel this doesn't matter atm as I'm winning at a good rate so can play my B game.

Just played another 1.7k hands in an hour this morning. Might force myself a session later although i'm exhausted as only slept for 3 hours last night.
