I'm a break even, relatively novice player ready to leap into some serious poker. I began by putting 100 dollars into my pokerstars account, and by reading on forums like this and other poker theory, i plan to develop my game and climb the stakes ladder and hopefully make some good coin out of it. I will begin playing an aggressive stab at 10nl (i know i'm not properly rolled for it) with the goal to move up to 25nl as soon as possible. I will keep you guys posted on my progression as well as asking for some advice from the more experienced grinders about more specific things like individual hands and bankroll management. Thanks so much and any input would be highly appreciated.

OK legends. A great start for me over the new year getting my BR to $187. My graph is below. Is it concerning that my showdown profits are just better than break even and non-showdown accounting for the vast majority?? The session was a large one, just over 2000 hands playing 3 tables of 10nl zoom.
Cheers

Thats what i like to see, good start mate! Looks like you're being pretty aggressive during the hand. Be interesting to see if the larger non showdown is there consistently.

Big BR drop since my last post, im down to $123. Had a few sessions where i was possibly tired and found myself in a lot of spots where i knew i was beaten but found a line for the opposition where i thought i could have been ahead. Terrible trait i know but im trying to work on the discipline aspect of poker. Until next time my friends

Had another couple of sessions and im back on track. Normal transmission may be resumed after back to back sessions of positive play and decent results. I won $47.60 over 2100 odd hands. Running well certainly helped but i feel i have turned a corner with some tough folds and more aggression when required. Graph posted below. Despite the winrate being pretty unsustainable, i hope this run continues. BR now $171
