Feeling a bit better about it now.
I was 2/5 then lost AK to 99 with 5 left (had a spade and flop was all spades) but bricks.
Then got in AJ on J 10 x against KQ and couldn't hold.
Then AK hit an A on the river against my 7's and that was that.
Sucks to be on the wrong side of the every time at the worst times, but thats poker.
I've been doing really well lately and can't complain.

I get to make another withdrawl out of the account tonight AND got a bonus off Full Tilt today for FTing both of the $26 Daily Doubles today (4th and 6th), for about $400.
Deposited $100 on Full Tilt a week ago and with a 4th in the Early Fiddy $55 Deepstack and the 2 FT's today I'm up about $1k for the week on there.

Deposited the money and took a shot off the stake.
Busted with 16bbs 99 vs 1010 of Pessagno. Dissapointing but got $550 for cashing and $620 in KOs.

3rd for $1200. hmm made a so-so call on the turn (all in) against a spewy aggro donk. Kinda wish I folded turn, but I wouldve had only 350k anyway, while the other 2 had 2mil and 1.8mil so it was a pretty tough spot to play from.


13/23 in the $5R+ 12.5k gtd though. $2.3k up top.
and just cashed in a $11 1R1A, 40 left, $1.7k up top.
Hopefully finish the day with another FT.

FT'd both. 4/9 and 5/9 but anyones game in both. Still deep and good structure.

Yeah i start as early as the big 16 sometimes, but it's hard because if you bust that and the big 33, there's not really anything else on that's good untill 11/midnight.

You exclusively during peak or do you sometimes go from say big 27.50 until the big $16/$33?

yeah 99% is 11pm till 9am. last reg is usually a bit after big 55 (5am). If I sleep in I'll sometimes play on and do big 27. I use to play in arvo's in Aus and it seems it's alot softer but theres just not enough on to wanna play those times

Just finished a really long session. Disappointing end coming 26th out of 10,500 in bigger $5.50. Was running it down final 100, thought was an FT coming for sure. Ah well. Also took 15th in $11R+ 15k. Close but no cigar on both.

Feeling really into the grind at the moment and am going to sleep and start again once I wake up

About 2013:
I joined TPB at the start of the year and started off playing with a $33 cap and $11 cap for turbos.
Since then I now play with a $55 cap and $22 cap on Turbos, plus Hot 22's/33's, $109 Sunday Kickoff/Bigger $109, and usually get staked for $215s when there is series events on.
I also played a couple $330 Liveaments and a $2200 ANZPT Main Event, all in Sydney, during the year, which was a big change from previous years playing small $5-$50 tournaments at leagues clubs around the area. But nowadays I feel comfortable at pretty much any live table that would be in Australia.

I'm a completely different player now than I was at the start of the year. You always tend to feel like you have poker pretty down pat, and then 3 months goes by and you realise how bad you were 3 months ago. It's pretty much that times ten when I look back to the start of the year.
I was really lucky to get staked when I did, I didn't have many results and out of the 2 guys that own the stable, both of whom I applied to, I actually got one rejection haha.
Super run good that it went through and everything worked out, otherwise I probably wouldn't be playing much poker at all now, and would be working some bull**** job.
Throughout the year I've gotten monthly coaching from 3 seperate crushers that have totally changed the way I think about playing hands. Looking back I can say I had huge post flop leaks, most of which I hope are gone now haha.

Tbh I was hoping I would have made more profit this far into the year, but I also didn't think I would have had the good results I've had, Big 16's, Big 5, ANZOPS etc. Plus I do think I could have put in more volume this year than I have, especially during April/May.

As with every MTT player I had my fair share of grossness. I was all in with 11 left in the Big $33 for big chiplead, on a 10 4 8 board. KK vs QQ and he turned the Q. First was just under $8k. Was so disgusted at the time.
I also entered the FT of the $11R 40k as 2/9 recently.
I was still 2nd in chips with 5 left and ended up getting 5th. First was also just under $8k.
I lost 2 big flips against the Ginger (has PG&C thread), AK vs 99, 77 vs AK haha. He ended up taking 2nd. No bad feelings though, he's a great player and absolutely crushes, that's just poker. Also had my fair share of suckouts throughout the year, so can't/shouldn't complain.

Hopefully with the following plans I'm setting I can make more money this half of the year.

• Make top 10 in my state for P5's, 11th at the moment.
