I've been in poker in various areas for about 10 years. I've been contemplating starting a tournament series such as wsop, or wpt. But on a smaller scale. Such as a series just in my region that travels to different casinos. There doesn't seem to be much information out there on what steps are needed to put on this type of thing.

Any links on information would be appreciated. Info such as "you need to contact the casino to see if you can put a tournament on" will be disregarded.

I need information on legal things such as what is needed for each states gaming commission. Things like this from anyone experienced would be great.
