Good start to the month. Graph includes yesterday's play paying about 20% attention during the CL game. Today I played some NL5 and some NL2 because I was making a video for a Czech website.

Unfortunately it's a holiday here so I can't go to the gym, but I'm about to work out at home, which counts (sorry P0kerM0nk ). Probably done for the day, tons of work to do and I wanna pay 100% attention to Bayern raping Barca tonight. BR is now over $300, which means I'm technically rolled for NL10 by my BRM but I wanna create a 3 BI cushion for the shot, so I'll play NL10 when I reach $330.

BR: $301.50

Still a few freerolls up for grabs, but I won't accept any after May 4th because I think it would be unfair.

Happy May Day! Also Bayern should have no problem but I'm afraid they may take it easy in the second leg after the whoopin they put on in game 1.

Thanks buddy. If Bayern somehow end up not going thru I might take a tilt shot at NL100

Amen!

Kinda forced myself to play today due to the freerolls, so I played without any motivation and while being kinda tired. Played accordingly bad, although I made a few good plays. Had KK<AA 3 times today though, set over set once and a few dumb spots where I had to fold pretty good hands. I still don't know if I'm just running bad or folding too much for NL5, but my redline is pretty dumb looking:

75% NL5, 25% NL2 while 6-tabling. PT4 missed a couple of hands again but nothing major. Up 2 BIs in NL5, down 1 BI in NL2. Decided to take advantage of the 20% bonus on $100 redeposits on PS, but I won't be adding the $100 to my BR since I'll withdraw that as soon as I clear the bonus. The extra $20 will be counted as rakeback though.

I mean at NL2 its pretty much BE or slightly negative, at NL10+ its positive, but at NL5 its significantly downward sloping. I'm starting to think I fold too much.

Anyway, these past days have been terrible volume-wise and it's not likely to change this weekend since the gf is coming over til monday. Catching up to my EV a little though, got lucky a few times and won some flips:

First 300 hands = NL5, next 2k are NL2, then NL5 again. Difference in redline is pretty blatant :/

Still mixing in a lot of NL2 because I don't feel like playing NL5 when I'm super tired and not focused. I am now rolled for NL10 but I'm gonna be a nit and not play it until I can string together enough time to play a longer session where I can fully focus. God I'm such a nit.

75/400 VPPs til I clear the $20 bonus; I think it's a good idea to play NL5 until I get the bonus and use it as a cushion for NL10. Feel free to flame me for being such a nitface.

Regarding my goals:
- 5320/40k hands played
- $42/$200 profit made (+$320 MTT winnings)
- 1/12 gym sessions (oh oh)
- 0/8 cardio (fml)

Not accepting any more freeroll takers though.

Got in about 40 min of play today but couldn't get much going. Totally card dead at NL5, especially at the 2 regular tables I played. Can't wait to get out of this stake. Actually I get the feeling that NL5 is the most aggro limit preflop I've ever played, feels like I get 3bet every single hand pre and c/r way more often than NL10+. Giraffe:

So sick, I don't remember NL5 being this aggro. Wish I flopped something occasionally when I flat the 3bet :/ Thanks buddy, good luck to you.

Didn't have a very good weekend at all. No excuses, I played very poorly. Of course I got coolered a lot and just ran bad, but for the first time in ages my tilt actually started to manifest itself in my play. Pretty upset about that.

Weekend giraffe looking awesome:

Pretty much BE at NL5 zoom, up 2 BI at NL2, up 1 BI at NL10 but down 4 BI at NL5 regular.

Made some preflop adjustments at NL5 zoom because I honestly get 3bet every hand I open (unless I have premiums of course ). Not sure if it's a good adjustment but I tightened up my opening range from the CO because I just get flatted/3bet from the BTN way too much. Threw in like 3-4 light 4bets against aggro 3bettors and obv got shipped on every time.

All in all a crap weekend but thanks to RB I'm miraculously up $9 or so since the last update. Will keep playing NL5 for a while though. Gonna throw in the lolhand of the day:

Decent volume today but ran like aids. Lost 5 BIs in the span of 300 hands somewhere in the middle and took the rest of the session to rostucko. Actually didn't tilt at all but just couldn't really win a hand. Got another $11 in RB though, making this an OK day. When did I become a RB ho...

I'm kind of in need of a week off but I've set myself some volume/profit goals and if I want to achieve them I'll have to play this week. After that its gonna get tougher.

Down like 6 BIs with just premiums today:

I'm wondering if my line is absolutely dreadful against this guy. Flop raise is questionable at best but I've been getting raised and c/r on dry Kxx, Qxx a ton, so I felt like taking a stand. Plan was pretty much to give up on any turn except for K and A. A seemed like a must bet now that I picked up equity and my K possibly being good too. Otr I just felt like his range is pretty much missed FDs and Qx which I assumed would fold. Unfortunately he timed down and proceeded to own my soul.

So many suckouts that EV didn't account for today as well, so I'm thrilled to have won a few cheeseburgers.

Finally an enjoyable day. Started off with NL2 and then suddenly found some motivation and moved up. Still 65% NL2, 35% NL5, so volume is bad, but I'm finally motivated again and played extremely focused. Quit early today like a true nit to finally book a decent winning session.

Actually played really nitty today, trying not to be results oriented but maybe thats the way to go at NL5 since there are so many lagtard regs. Also managed to go to the gym and start studying for state exams. Thesis 99% done too, so I'm rather content. Time to kick back and watch tennis.

Played an early morning session. Nitting it up a bit seems to be working, played 18/16/5% 3bet today (15/13/4% yesterday), so 16/14/5% overall and it's been quite successful. Now I'm just trying to determine if it's just some rungood or if this is the way to go. I feel dumb nitting it up so hard at the micros :/

80% zoom, 20% regular. Volume is lolbad but not much I can do. Will see if I can squeeze in another session later. Nearing the halfway mark of the month so I thought I'd update on the goals:

Gl man keep working hard it will pay off and you be back!
Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. Raising flop is bad on so many levels. Shame the 2nd Q hit I was obviously setting him up Hellmuth style. Hand 2 is of course standard but the runout was lol. Thanks man, appreciate your support bud.

Today wasn't very fun. Volume was fine but the results suck. Ran super bad and also played kinda robotic but I'm pretty happy to rostucko given how things were looking. Had a few interesting spots come up tho, some of which are posted below.

Totally std though his plays are kinda optimistic.

Well I'm up 3 EVBIs today, so can't complain. Tomorrow is another day (although I doubt I'll get in any volume).
