You are missing a golden opportunity if you don’t put the name/logo of your outdoor creations business on the court. This is going to be the best backyard pickleball court in the world and pictures of it will circulate around the world. Why not take the free marketing in case you ever open back up the biz?

Appreciate all the input!
Keep going back n forth, but liking A.
After talking to paint specialists, I wish I wd hv put a vapor barrier down before concrete. They say it helps w moisture coming from bottom up and without it the paint can bubble or peel.
Maybe we just do lines, so we don’t hv a bubble/peel mess. Gonna mull this over a bit.

Was up $250 early (fist hour) this morning, and ended up +147 on 4hr 46 mins. Another sesh where I shd hv just hit n ran. Lol.

Did go all in and showed my hand to a regular pro that was up $400 in his sesh. I wanted to test his gamble, and see if he wanted to risk his winnings.

Folds to me otb and make it $10. Bb 3 bets to $25. I call w A5.

Pot $50 hu and $400 effective.

Flop: 1065
Bb bets $30. I shove $400, and show my hand face up while he tanks w QsQd.
He mucks protecting his winnings. Just as I planned it.
Poker calculator 49/51.

Decent start to April. Hoping to get closer to $40k 1/3nl challenge pace by end of the month. We trying

Was surprised by the fold!
Who else wd not want to risk their winnings on a flip after putting $50 into the pot?

Either a losing player who can't calculate % and EV properly or someone who is playing stakes they can't afford.

same kind of person who leaves early to lock up the win, only he's willing to pay insurance in the single hand while you spread it over several unplayed hours

In the greatest game possible today.
Straddles of $6 and $10 every few hands. Other non straddle hands, guys were opening to $20 and getting many calls. Tons of bluffing, and tons of light calling. Avg stack around $600. Money was being lit on fire from a few players. One of those players, said the game wasn’t big enough for him. He was the worst player at the table.
Dream game, but card distribution wasn’t in my favor. Did a lot of folding while watching the party being thrown by the bmoc. Had many bad runouts w big money making hands on the flop.
It was frustrating.
In for $1,078. Out for $909. 6hr 5mins.

Why would you not sit in that game as long as physically possible if it was so good?

i'm thinking you got shook and left because you don't have the bankroll to play such good lineups. a -1.5k day would be devastating.

What would you say is your (2-digit) level at pickleball if you auto-evaluate yourself?

@babaloos I don’t even know where to start.
Made 1.4 milly and then started having 6 fig losing days that broke me. To my knees. Feeling of crumbs put me in a year long therapy. Ended up losing a milly. Simultaneously having physical and mental pain like nothing ever felt. Ended up 1 of 3 main characters In a documentary on AppleTv (and on ur favorite airlines in the sky). Motivation and dreams hv been paralyzed by the hurt of defeat. Now in the gutters playing 1/3nl w a 17k roll. Trying my best to give my heart to this 40k challenge. Attempt 3? maybe 4? Lost track. Oh,had a separation from wife and then reconnected happened. Currently building the best backyard pickleball court on earth. In a house way over my head. My family has been my purpose. Poker and mining around 700 gala tokens/day is our job.
Prob hv missed some other shitz. Who the f knows.??? Living w a lots of mental phuckness last few years that been keeping private. No one can fake it better than me. Smile.

@uberkuber not sure how pickle ranks. *Last tennis ranking was 4.5 usta.
Tbh, I’ve played pickle less than 10 times total. Improving and learning tactics each time out. That said, I cd compete w the best around Kentuckiana.

+200ish both sessions yesterday. 3 hrs in morning. 3hrs at night. We a proud 3-5hr guy. Like a great cheeseburger, we like to get In and Out.

opening the first game has been dragging.
First table started at 11a this morning.
We hit high hand for a $400 wsop circuit voucher (next month).
Up $400ish plus voucher.
Maybe we leave early again like our favorite cheeseburger. We In and We Out.

Getting closer to pace, but still behind. Don’t count me out. #NoQuit #KarateKid

We’re actually trying now. First few months we played some 2/5nl and threw in some plo. Now tho, now tho, we trying. It’s been all 1/3 so far this month.
On pace for 90 hours in April.
Hourly up to $39.43!! Was wondering if that was more than any previous year. So went into the cliff notes…

Dayum ^ 2015. Wish I wd hv tried the 40k goal that year #sigh

Did another multi (morning and night). We lose -$4 in morning sesh and politely hit n ran the night sesh for +323.

Everyone that has played poker has wondered what’s possible at 1/3nl stakes.
No one has documented more years of stats and journaling at this level than me. Everything can b verified to the last dollar from players in the room. I take pride in providing the most accurate statistics.

$40k at 1/3nl working part time! Is this gonna happen?
