In terms of the hedging, why not just put 5K on Bills money line this week?

Because then he has to put more money on the next game or he could lose both bets

Not quite getting it. A little more detailed explanation please. This is the most likely loss isn’t it? Making it an almost necessary hedge play while the 25k is still live.

How stupid would you feel if the Chiefs beat Buffalo and then lost their next game? -5k and -5k you just turned a 5k loss into a 10k loss.

Basically this. Once you hedge for something like this, you have to hedge every remaining game. You can’t just pick and choose. Assuming KC wins this week, whomever wins Cincy/Ten is still a really good team and by no means an easy win. Ten beat KC and Buf this season. Cincy has an insane offense clicking in all cylinders. It’s just a math problem with some assumptions on spreads of remaining possible opponents. I’m not sure the math would work out to hedge vs Buf + AFC Champ game + SB

BS, with xlm currently at ~0.23 and your refusal to sell at a loss, how are you currently paying general living expenses? Do you still have money not invested? Have you had to start side hustling other stuff?

I guess it’s back to the single V home run debate. Rayz don’t play. It’s fun to watch have to admit.

Times like these it's nice to hold something which is staked to 'slightly' offset the disastrous market.

Iirc, he netted like 30k from the house flip and like 800k from the crypto.

Back of napkin math says fed tax bill is going to be roughly 240k-270k and Indiana tax bill will be 25k

So that leaves like 445k-475k. Still a nice haul for a year but taxes+bad mojo with the market kinda kill it. If my numbers are correct, sub .14 he’ll have less money than when he started
