NIO Round 2? C'mon man, that stock is a couple of years away from being profitable. You want a Chinese stock on the rise with solid techincals post G20? $BZUN

You're welcome

These I know, HAL is tied into the US market which has slim margins. SLB has a much better international presence but been poorly managed the past few years. There however about to have a regime change.

Congrats on doing the smart thing, glad to see you heading in the right direction.

If your plan is to put 2k into your RH account AND grow your poker bankroll by 1k every month AND your bills are 1k every month, that means you need to make 4k every month. When was your last 4k month? If your hourly is $25/hr, that means you need to put in 160 hours every month. Good luck.

For the 1k+1k(every other week) into nio, will you still be using margin or just treating it as a buy and hold this time?

Not sure. Found out this morning that my account is restricted from buying for 90 days.
I was day trading when my account was below day trading requirements.
Mayb for the time being we just transfer back to the back.

Also can we just shoot people who are sleeping at the table? Unless they are gd action of course
Wtf this is ridiculous.
My bad, shdnt say kill them. For ****s sake can we deal around them or something? One of my biggest pet peeves. It’s so idiotic

My oldest wants to b a teacher. Why send her to some prestigious college that 10x the expense when she can get an education degree right down the road at IUS?
I absolutely agree on this. I went to IUS and really enjoyed it. Not every professor is great, but that probably applies to every school, but I did have some really awesome professors, and one's that knew their ****.

Had a finance professor that came from Yale, she learned real quick we aint Yale students lol, but got a lot out of that class. Another prof was one of the top digital professors on Twitter across the nation, and this was 8-9 years ago.

Compared to U of L ( I attended both) I think IUS was definitely on par and was a better fit for me. They did lack on facilities, but definitely great value.

I learned way more at a community college than I did the university.

University was more just learning to bs my way to a ba.

He's already said multiple times that he doesn't pay taxes on his poker winnings. Is it dumb to say, in public, on an account that you've tied your full legal name to, that you don't pay taxes on money you also publicly claim to make? Of course. Does a google search of his name bring this thread up as one of the top results, making it trivially easy for any IRS agent to see those claims if he were to ever get audited? Absolutely. But I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Don't get too greedy. I amend Michael Douglas's Wall Street quote to say: A little greed is good.

Too much and you are screwed. You need to balance the desire for more and more (money, freedom, risk, adrenaline) with the other side of things (saving, boundaries, conservatism, calm).

Without balance you will eventually be doomed to blow it all up.

Why would you shot take at poker? Your game is suited for playing against old retired people on the week days. Better off doing stock than lighting it on fire in a big game with thinking players.

It would be very hard for them to prove he isn’t a slight winning/breakeven/losing player lying on the internet though.
( not saying that is the case)
But
They’re not busting all the Instagram guys who make 35k a year pretending to be billionaire playboys to an audience on the internet.
+ it’s not like he’s unemployed and driving around in a brand new tesla or anything, lol. I’m sure from a surveillance standpoint he really just looks like a stay at home dad. If anything I’d be worried about posting pictures with marijuana cigarettes occasionally, that’s something illegal they could actually go in his house and find proof of. He’s never going to jail for financial crimes for being investigated having them find 1800 cash or whatever short bankroll he prefers to keep.

I'm 40 so been around a bit... and one thing that is almost a sure thing... people who run into money fast, whether it be gambling, inheritance or whatever... it goes fast... now unless they have been already well off. 100k or he'll even 12million... yes I've witnessed it first hand. Grind, grow your money slowly and consistently, don't take unnecessary risk unless you got a very good plan b. The poor stay poor bcuz they only know how to spend money, while the rich stay rich cause they know how to grow money

Well, I would change a lot about what you've been doing for the last 6 months, but as far as your initial goal, no, don't change anything. Play poker, hang out with your family, sleep, repeat. Don't gamble on stocks or DFS or house flipping or whatever else calls to you as easy riches. Grind out the thing you know you excel at. Bank money. Try to have a competition with yourself to see how much money you can have in your bank account.

Personally, I would pay off the debt before I wasted money on a car I didn't need. The GTO play with a pile of cash would probably be to invest in into something that generates more money than the interest on the loan instead of just paying it down.

You should absolutely focus on the grind. Shot taking 10/25 at LATB, I can't necessarily subscribe to as I feel there are softer, big games around the country, especially during key times of the year.

BTW, $BZUN up ~10% since close on Friday and has rock solid technicals.

It's not even really a shot take, as he can't play in the game regularly, I see no purpose other than to add variance.
