True on the first part.

The other $10k? Not sure whatcha mean, but understand it can all b confusing.
•If u r referring to my $30k stock downswing, I was up to $68k.
•If u r referring to $70k on heloc. Sara 10k, me 60k.

So far we this plan hasn’t worked out, but year isn’t over. I’m taking ur advice and putting in more poker hours.

Ok. Advice taken. How bout we stay invested but w no margin right now? Switch gears and focus on running up the poker w more hours logged.

WE NEED A POKER CHALLENGE!!

A challenge is the only thing that really motivates me. I don’t hv the poker passion like most players. So it’s the challenge and the money that gets me excited.
I got an idea I think. Lmk if u have any. I think we start this tomorrow!

I like the idea of a comeback challenge. Make up the 30k stock loss in 1000 hours of play or less. That way you can get back to shot taking.

So far we gonna tackle 1000 hours for rest of 2019. Great suggestion!

How does this sound?
Outside of our normal 1/2nl we will take small shot takes along the way. But only when we reach x amount in poker/life roll.

For example...
once we get the poker/life roll to $10k, we allow us 3buyins (or 15hrs worth) of 2/5nl that given month. At $25k, 3 buyins of 5/10nl. Etc etc. These small shots are in addition to our regular 1/2 grind. *My home casino doesn’t play this big in nl, so I’ll hv to travel when we meet that mark. Looking forward to 10/20nl level!

We keep this graph going until we get to $100k and EV purchase.
This cheesy bar graph will be updated every week.

Good luck Ray! I like the idea of the 1000 hour challenge for the rest of the year. At your usual hourly rate that you have consistently won at your home casino, you will be replacing a good chunk of your stock losses.

First day of the 1000 hour challenge started w a double up to +400, and ended w -$88 on 5hrs 50mins. Chalking up the first day as a loss. Sometimes the first day doesn’t always go as planned.

I saw that too shortly after I posted.
It was at HSI but MYHouse sounds gd. *The Poker Income app I got for this 1000hr challenge has MYHouse as default. There will never be a game at my house.

I guess I’ll tell the thread what I told u the other day.
That is, if we get the stock game to $70k by July; then we playing the Main. Been at that $70k mark twice, but now it takes a near double from here.

Not likely, but possible.
