Way to stereotype megaouts lol. I'm a religious guy, but I never "bible thump" in public. If somebody is curious or has questions, only then will I use that window to inform them. Please stop lumping "all" people into certain categories.

Sorry, man. We couldn't be more 180 degree opposite on that statement. I too am a Christian and I can say that I nor other Christians I know think that way. If anything, we see our sin more and are truly ashamed of it. I'm not going to argue that there are not people that act that way, but when they do, they are NOT practicing their Christian faith. As for Ray, don't ever apologize for your Christian beliefs. You are entitled to your opinions just as anyone else (besides it's your thread ).

On a side note, Ray, found your thread while seeing if I could find any info on HSI since we are going to be staying there this Sun-Weds morn. Been following it and reading past posts for about a month and it is really nice to hear about the place from someone as yourself. Hopefully, I can maybe find you Mon or Tues late afternoon to say hello.

just finished reading thread. great read so far. Keep it up. And start planning your journey to high stakes. This challenge shows great discipline. I think you will need to develop your game next year for higher stakes. Eventually you can be earning 40k a month.

@hockeyshawny thanks man!
I appreciate all the posts on here, and everyone who is following my journey.
Quick update on the poll: From 409 total votes, 60% of voters believe less $35K is most realistic. After doing this for 9 months, I believe $35K seems to be # (based on 30hrs/wk).

Just a recap of my most recent sessions

Good luck on the up and coming tournaments in Cincinnati! Any thoughts on how you plan to proceed next year? Do you plan on continuing to play 1-2 nl at HSI?

@ashberj thanks. Hope to run better in Cincy than I have here lately. 3 losing sessions n a row. Not sure if I have had 3 losing seshs n a row all year. I wd have to look back thru the months, but I doubt it.
As far as next year... I plan to continuing grinding 1/2 at HSI, and make a lot of 3 day getaways for bigger cash games. The 5/10 $2k max buy n Hammond has my attention, and plan on doing many weekends there. Also few cheap weekend getaways to Vegas to play 5/10 and tourneys. I will play 2/5 every chance I get here at HSI, but usually just goes once a week. The 5/10/20nhle that goes every Friday I will take some shots in, but might be too big of a game to play every week. Still not sure how much I shd buy n for at that game. Usually stacks r between 1k- 10k. I guess it will depend on my BR and the line up. Also in the game plan for next year is more tournaments. I really want to look for tournaments w gd value, and play as many as I can. As always, I will try to find a life balance and continue the grind.
Today: bought n for $700 and added $100. Their was a 1/2 that carried through the night w big stacks. It was a great table, but I cdnt manage to get anything going.
The bad: lost -$131
The good: bought another main event seat for $950. Now have a total of 7 main event seats. Already sold one, im gonna use one, 2 is locked up by buyers, and leaves 3 left for sell.
Update: $27,405 cash. $24,884 over all.

I actually decided to play Event 1 and 2. So Im thinking on staying the night Thursday, and play event 2 on Friday. If I make day 2 of event 1; then ill prob play Event 2 on Sat or Sun.
It could very easily b a $1k losing week. Hopefully not, but being realistic.

I'm selling for $1550 to outsiders, $1500 for anyone on 2+2. The first one I sold went smoothly, and no probs at the cage. The player took the pink slip to the cashier, and registered for the main. I was by his side the whole time to make sure their wasn't an issue. I will do the same for others who buy them. DM me if interested, or tweet at me for a more instant response. https://twitter.com/RayzRayl
Thanks.

@moaypurLawn @scieEM55 @stevsmith1980 Gl Gl. I wish everyone Gl luck during the WSOP events. Hope to meet each of u at the final table.

I decided it might be best to take today off from poker, and gear up for Cincy tomo. So today I been doing laundry, and cleaning the house (preparing for a showing tomo, we put house on market 3wks ago). Doing my gf's laundry, and house cleaning shd be worth 25 bonus points w gf. Which may lead to extra tennis time for me during the week. #thinkingahead. Im pretty sure i need about 50ish bonus points, for an extra 3hrs of court time/week. #Familyvs.tennisformula. After cleaning the house, i will head to my rentals for some outside clean up and replace filters. Then pick up the 2 yr old from daycare around 3:45p. Side-note: The rides home w my 2 1/2 yr old daughter is classic! She says some pretty gnarly stuff, and every now and then i catch her singing/dancing in the back of the car. The 2 of us will arrive home to meet momma and 10yr old at the hizzie around 4p. Then, i will have to quickly urge the 10yr old to get her homework done before i drop her off at Cross Country at 5p. The gf will do the pick up, and i will head to my weekly Wed tennis match at 6p. The plan then is try to win in 2 sets, so i can quickly come back home, shower, and hang w fam before 9:30 bedtime. I will then unwind w the Big Brother Finale at 9:30p.
During today's agenda i will try to solve a couple questions that has been boggling my mind. Such as: Where is my missing sock? And, Why is the Mayonnaise jar always empty?

@yster got ur DM. Thanks. I got ur Main Event Seat pink slip locked up for ya. And yes u r correct, It is for HSI main

Dinner break of event 1 @wsop 80 left from 308. 26K, 40Kavg. So far I've won a food voucher for a combo meal. Coming back to 200-600-1200

Been all in 5 times. once on a semi bluff (no call), 3 w best (got called twice, and a fold once), and once during last level for 9bbs 55>AQ

Been a struggle from the jump. Top "Larry Bird" gets paid.

Let's do this @emptinpockets
