Diet, meditation, prayer are all great ways to help anxiety. How do you feel after a long tennis match after working up a good sweat? I would imagine pretty good. On your off tennis days, go for a run, pump some iron, do anything physical.
Best to you Ray

Edit: sick hourly on the 25th, $253/hour

I am pretty sure he meant circuit main event. I play the 5/10/20 every once in awhile and I recognized one of the guys.

Just found this thread and I must say hourly rate of $26-27/hr at 1/2NL is just absolultely sick, mine is not even half that. Congrats and keep it up.

Here’s the short version, and interested to hear your thoughts.

Splash the pot of $100, and everyone called the $5 button straddle. Irrelevant action took place on flop, and turn. By the river 5 players were left and pot was around $300.

Now the river... Seat 7 first to act-checks, seat 8 bets $45, seat 1 folds, seat 5/button has cards BUT gets ran over by seat 7 folding out of turn. Seat 8 who thinks action is over goes ahead and shows his bluff. Dealer Patty starts pushing the pot towards seat 8. At this time seat 5 shows he still has a hand, and seat 7 is in shock . He simply says "call" w bottom pair of 5s after seeing the exposed bluff hand from seat 7.
Seat 7 went bonkers, and **** hit the fan. The floor comes over to try to handle the situation, and players just kept on arguing emphatically. The floor’s face starts to get a tempered red tint, and vociferously tells everyone “Just Shut up! Shut up!” Finally the floor rules that seat 5 wd b awarded the pot, and seat 7 went absolutely berserk! The free entertainment was almost worth the $200 I was down at the time .

I can definitely see both sides of this. First off seat 5 did nothing wrong, but I also feel the dealer shd hv stopped the action once seat 7 folds out of turn. Obviously seat 8 thought action was over when the dealer started pushing him the pot. On the other hand, I can also see where seat 8 has to be aware of the players in the pot. It was ugly and total mayhem for a gd 5 minutes. #welcometoHSI

Today: was down $250 after a couple hours, then got back to even, then made a timely big bluff to get $100 ahead, then shoved ott w 2 pair vs top pair/flush draw that didn’t complete to win a little more… ended up winning +$358 on 6hrs 33mins. Running gd so far in Nov.

Highlight of the day: seeing someone call an All in w 4hi! I can't make this stuff up! He thought he was calling w a straight (wd hv been beaten anyways to a full house). But no straight from gpa, just the 4 hi! The gd ole 34 on a 2688K board. Wasn't even close to a straight! I have no idea what this elderly guy was thinking!! Mayb he thought one of the 8s was a 5.??? I had to do everything in my power not to laugh . Finally I got to that point where I just had to let it out, so I walked away from the table and laughed my way to the bathroom. Merry Cmas Hero!

Dreaming of the day smone calls my shove w 4hi,
@Rayzrayl
a couple months ago i was involved in a similarly bizarre hand with a questionable ruling. i had KK, raised and got a couple callers. on a 479dd flop a tight guy donkled. i was fairly certain he only donkled 2pr+ but i called anyway.

the turn was a jack and he snapshoved 350 into a 150 flop. i instantly mucked my hand face up in the middle of the table slightly annoyed. a minute later the guy who donkled shouts "yes! i needed that double up!!"

i look at the table and the dealer has fanned out the turn and river and his two pair holds.

floor is called over and dealer and donkleader say they thought i said call. everyone else argues i said nothing. floor rules i either pay the bet or rack up. i decided i'm racking up and would rather get 86'ed than give this guy #325 for nothing.

my buddy and i had just got into town so we mulled things over a bit and decided to talk to the poker room to iron everything out. long story short a posse of security guys ends up approaching us and lets us know i either pay the guy or i'm being escorted off the premises immediately. i paid.

Appreciate all the support and encouraging words. A lot of people chimed in, so really do to know where to start. I will say this, I enjoy reading the posts from everyone.

Looking to finish 2014 on a high note. It's always gd to finish just as strong as I started. No letting up here! It's my desire to finish w a bang.

My pick for WSOP main champ will be Larrabe. Haven't watched much of it, but from what I seen the last couple of weeks I like his game the most. I think he is sitting 6th in chips, so no chalk here.

Today: I refuse to play HSI on Mon and Thurs (stupid promo days), so I did some leaf removal at my rental/apartment instead. Btw, may hv to evict a tenant after not receiving October's rent. Tried my best to b patient and understanding; but also can't let smone live for free. He hasn't paid November either, so no rent last 2 months must evict. The "villain" leaves me no choice. It's been really strange, he has paid on time every month and then nothing for last 2. It can get very dicey when trying to evict smone. U def don't want to piss the tenant off and hv him trash/sabotage ur place (which costs more money), but also u want them out. It's a fine line that requires a skillful art to properly evict w kindness.
Speaking of art, after the leaf removal, I finished an art project I been working on for awhile. My pops was an art teacher for 30 years, so mayb he passed down sm of his skills to me. The end result turned out ok, not too impressed. But satisfied enough to hang in my office. Here ya go: Gd Ole USA

Tomo and Wed: cash games at the shoe.
Thurs: tourney at Hollywood.

Happy Veterans Day for all those who served our country. Big ups and hv my utmost respect. Thank you for all your hard work and service.

Most anxiety attacks stem from adrenal issues from stress, physical and/or emotional. I think you are on the right track trying to take care of this naturally with diet and supplements. The next time an attack comes on at the poker table, try listening to music with an earbud only in your left ear. It may sound crazy but try it.

I initially regretted having paid but I live in Nashville. It'd be pretty crappy to not be able to play HSI. I've done extremely well since then and am glad I did.

Ok this one has me puzzled. Playing 1/2 with me as SB (261) UTG+2 (310) and B (197). Everyone limps for 2 i make it 17 total after looking at AhJh and get the 2 callers. Flop is AsJs4d. I make it 60 and get snap called! WTF! If it's a rainbow flop i'm checking but i always hate same suits showing up on the flop so that's why i bet.

Was that mistake #1 on my part?

Turn is 3c which is a pretty safe card knowing they didn't call me with a 25 and i threw small sets 3s and 4s out of the equation too.... so i push in 184 and UTG+2 calls after 2 minutes leaving with him 50 behind and B after 30 seconds says "i gotta call" and he calls short. So i immediately say you boys called almost $200 on a draw? Sure enough they both turn over spades. I turn over top 2.

Do i really need to tell you what came on the river?
Unbelievable after 6 spades were covered with their hands and the flop. I'm 60% favored on the flop and 76% favored on the turn.

Thoughts please other than i could have checked the flop and hopefully everyone checks esp. because they're on a draw and then with the safe card OTT then maybe i bet out 60 and get called there. When the river completes the flush and i check and they double fire out i can fold.

So that's u. Not sure if u know this or not, but when u had this pic taken I was in seat 4/same table. I think u asked seat 3 to take ur pic if I remember correctly. Also remember u and seat 1 talking about Clash of Clans (I think that's what its called). I wd bet the farm seat 1 is prob playing that in the background of this pic.
I think u was going on 24 hrs when I arrived that morning. I bought in for half your stack and we didn't tangle too much, but I do remember one hand with us. Not sure how the action went down, but I think u may hv straddled and 3bet w pocket 9s. I think I 4bet jammed $800 w 78, a shortie ($130) called w AK, and u tanked for ever. You seemed to think u was gd, but just couldn't find the "call" button. Luckily u folded!
It was heads up and I ended up w a pair to take it down.
Thought u played really well. GL to u as well.

Today: played 4hrs 26mins. +$378. 8 winning session in a row.

@bluffedorbbluff u played the hand great. U r getting max value if the river bricks. Smtimes u can play perfectly and still lose. #sickgame.

@mastaAces thanks man.

TILTED!! Just typed out a lengthy post, then my computer decides it’s time for a configuration. U know the one that just starts up out of nowhere. All of a sudden my laptop decides to log me off, configure, and restart. When it restarted, I see all my original post vanished into thin air. Poof!
I know that bastard is in here smwhere, but I’m not tech savy enough to retrieve it. Not sure if I’m more pissed about losing everything I just typed, or giving Jim $400 on the bad river call I made.
Anyways too annoyed to retype the important hands, and the rest of today’s happenings all over again; so I’ll just say it was a great day.

8 winning sesh came to end win I lost -$231 on 1/2nl over 3hrs 48mins.

But crushed 2/5/10 for +$3,432 on 5hrs 18mins. Shd of won closer to $4k, but made a idiotic $400 call otr to my buddy Jim. That call suddenly got me out of the feel gd mood real quick. On the way home, I shd hv been extremely happy w the quality sesh. The kind of happiness when u jam the radio and sing like you’re a Rock Star, but instead all I cd think about was giving away $400! It was kind of a weird feeling of ecstatic mixed w disappointment.

Up $6,403 in Nov w a $183.43 hourly this month.

Now tourney the phase starting tomorrow in Lawrenceburg, In. Hollywood Poker Open event 1 $235 buy in. I stated a few weeks back that I’m not shaving until I cash a tourney, so hopefully I'll be shaving soon. Tourneys haven’t been too kind to me this year, so I fig I wd try this #nocashnoshave for the extra motivation. Btw, I look like an utter idiot w this shaggy beard. Please let me find the razor soon!

As always your support keeps me motivated. For that, I'm ever grateful.
