ok so a few of you are in bad habbits for eating, this is standard, so much BS fed to us from supermarkets and companys that its not hard to become confused what weve to eat to be optimal in our field.
our field is poker, were we sit for long periods of time motionless, and some of us only have 5 mins per hour to do our eating/cooking which is near impossible leads to eating proccessed garbage!!
SOOOOOO what do we do to combat this, well? easy really dont eat anything that wasnt on the earth before we got here (to a certain extent) stay away from all processed stuff, white flour products , white sugar products, ready meals, micro meals, if it doesnt go out of date for a year n its a piece of meat its probably not meat lol
things to eat
lean meats -(chicken, turkey, beef. bison, some pork is ok to)
seafood: all of it please yum
vegetables - broccoli, peas,carrots, courgette, mangetout, sugarsnap peas, peppers, baby corns, spring onions, red onions onion lyf!!! all kinds and mix it up they dont have to be bland as ul see
fruits , tastyest thing on earth a fruit salad takes 5 mins to make
avacados are life good fats good energy
u can live off that alone, i like to add some others tho
almond milk
eggs
oats
swapped out potatoes for sweet pototoes to
wholemeal wraps
some egg noodles for stir frys
thats basicly all i put in my body (exept weekends i go ballistic on alcohol pizza and all mannor of ****) i live by the 5/2 rule 5 days strict eating clean, 2 days i do what i want, this isnt to say i binge eat 5 pizzas i still eat nice healthy **** but may indulge more. my bodys never reacted bad to this, not to say its optimal it just suits me every body is different!!
so all the meals here a monkey with a kinfe could make. u can make them in bulk, put them in containers and theyl keep for 3 days in ur fridge then just nuke em as u need em, in my peak i was making for 5 days on a sunday, lunch and dinners and making breakfast pre grind and never seen anything go off, i stick to 3 days cos i just think its the sweet spot
food prep
wether it be making a weeks worth of breakfast lunches and dinners and storing them in your fridge/freezer as meals, or prepping for a few days of hard grind all u need is
A)ingredients/shopping for ur chosen meals (obv)
B) knife
c) george foreman grill type deal (makes ur life easy)
d) if u can get one of these it will increase ur time out the kitchen tenfold and stop you cutting up your fingers
that helps chop onions, and all the veg ur putting in stir frys salads etc (dont worry there tasty)
e) this is preferance but i keep loads of seasonings around , piri piri , cajun, garlic and chilli, lemon and herb all these are essential in making healthy food tasty, otherwise its bland and your less likely to stick to eating clean cos it tastes like dry chicken and leaves (puke)
f) a spare few hours to prep your food and loads of tupperware/plastic ****/jars whatever u want
types of prep
so imo there are 2 types of prep one is making ur protien and carb and fats and putting em all in a box and storing it as a meal for later consumption, this is kl but gets boring after a while, but it gives u complete control and no messing about at all once its done its done, ur fridge is like a healthy ready meals sesction.
the other is wear u grill 3 chicken breasts, some steaks or w/e in different seasonings and have chopped veg (red onion , courgettes baby corn, spring onion) all that stuff in seperate tubs and decide 'ok ima have chiken breast salad with xxxxx or im going to have a steak wrap with pepper and some piri piri salsa'
the 2nd method is more just being prepared and shaving time off ur cooking but still pretty good i mean u can go in on 5 min break and make some nice healthy wraps up this way

simply grilled chicken wholemeal wrap:
with chicken i seasoned in cajun powder and grilled on the foreman and chopped into a box (previously), then put some baby spinnach on there, cut in half cherry tomatoes, red onion, black olives, a drizzle of greek youghurt and roll that **** and back to your computer!! EASY and tasty and very healthy
and if u have all that boxed up it takes >2 mins to throw together, u have complete creative freedom also this is just what i like!!
full prep
this is were i grill chicken/beef/prawns and make up box's of lunch and dinners to eat i always cook breakfast fresh or have oats
*prawns i usuly make on the day as they dont keep past a few days*
breakfast tho <3
brown bread with avacado spread all over it, bacon, grilled and fat removed, some cherry tomatoes, and a poached egg on top some pepper n salt obvs!! gotta have flavour!
and this all goes in the fridge>>
these boxes i make go like this grill chicken and veg with some seasoning like so
then i chop up a few sweet potaotes into wedges or fries whatever u like cook in oven for 30 mins at 180 coat with piri piri or chosen spice or just salt n pepper if u like and have a full breast (chopped for ease) a cup of veg mix it up whatever u like, and a cup of sweet potatos, i dont meassure i just do it with what i like.... again this is me u can out whatever the **** u want in them as long as its not pizza, side of fries, and scoop of ice cream then u should be ok!!!
thats usualy dinner
for lunch il have a salad which i made my own dressing for which is ****ing awsome if i dont say so my self, the jars are just so it doesnt get soggie, this isnt my idea and its epic u can use tupperware but stick to the principles that ur tomatoes/onions etc go at bottom and any meat/leafy rubbish at top so it doesnt get soaked (the tomatoes and stuff in ur dressing actualy get pickled and taste incred)
i make mine like greek style as i love it, theres a million ways to do them look about online goes as follows
grilled seasoned chicken
cucumber diced
black olives
red onion diced
tomatoes chopped up
little bit of dressing bottom of jar
and thats it make 2 or 3 of each bang u have 3 lunches and 3 dinners and complete contorl of what you eat,
for snacks i snack on fuit, chopped mellon, pineapple, watermollon (goat fruit) apples grapes and nuts to almonds, and walnuts are filling and can throw some piri piri on em and bake em make a batch if u like
so thats a quick into and hopefully some of you take heid and stop being fat dweebs!! eat like that alone and ul drop pounds fast, add in running 3 times a week and ul shred up, add in interval training once u have some base fitness or better yet some boxing, muay thai, mma or martial art and boom ur body is a lean mean fat burning machine just gotta grind it for 3 months min before u see wow resutls!!
and now i play spins so only prep if im busy at IRL work so i get to make these whenever i want lol all so ****ing easy makes me wonder why people arent all cooks. if u want recipes to any of these check out my instagram @squiremaguire86 theres loads on there

if im being stric i have no noodles with it, i make my own sauce but the ones u buy arent full of crap really il include my one and my dressing at end
breadless burgers
greek kebabs
chicken and pot hash
skewers ready for the grill and some other mic meals that tasted the bomb
anyway stop being lazy buy some meat veg and fruit and get making, i suggest the lean in 15 book also lad has some banging easy to make meals and workouts for you that u can do in 15
