Hi guys, I'm new to these forums, but not really new to poker. I've been playing on Full Tilt for over a year now really haven't had much luck. I've lost a bit and feel like I need to change my attitude up and start from scratch. I'm going to move to a new poker site (doesn't matter which yet), and start with a bankroll for the maximum bonus (~$600.00).

I just read a great book call Zen and the Art of Poker which is a great read for anyone interested in the emotional side of poker.... well everyone really... because we all should be.

I wanted some advice on a bank roll plan and some suggestions of what games to start out in. Maybe I'll play tournaments and concentrate on that or ring games... I can't really decide.

EDIT: I love HU games they provide that constant action that I need to keep my mind straight

Since you aren't going to be playing on FullTilt you should definitely play on Pstars. Best rakeback and promotions, plus lots of players, and lots of bad players.

Also, it doesn't matter what games you play, just make sure you are rolled for it and know that you have to play decent volume.

Yea out of all the sites I think the only two options are stars and FT. My opinion would be to stick it out at FT because the rakeback is much better for any games below nl50 and that 600 bonus that you would make from stars can easily be made up through RB within the first 6 months of playing. If your looking more long term tho, stars would work best because the VIP program really cannot be touched.

If you really care lol, I started at Stars and played for a while then I switched to FT for the rakeback and it has helped me greatly moving through the limits. Once I feel comfortable at NL100 then Ill be making the switch back over to Stars because the VIP program.
